One thing that makes thrifting fun is a treasure hunt, because you never know what you’re going to find! Except at this store, they keep all the name brand items “to sell at corporate” as if they didn’t get donated for free. I literally asked to buy a watch and the manager refused to sell it to me after pulling out her phone and checking to see how much it would go for on eBay. Extremely innapropriate and absolutely demeaning to only sell the worst items that get donated. Shop anywhere but here.

I found this place to donate to about a year ago. There sign said that they were in need of clothes. So I donated a bunch of stuff . I then went into the store. I love it. You never know what you will find. You definitely need to go through it carefully and need some time to do it. The prices are better than goodwill that have increased. I have got some great bargains here and it’s for a great cause!!!!

My review is based on my donation experience. Pulled up, popped the trunk, and the workers just watched as I put everything into the bin. We filled the entire thing. These were two young gentlemen, who watched me struggle with several heavy things without offering to help. When we got to the final box, he said, oh do you need help? Just starred at me and tween daughter the entire time, which was really uncomfortable. Will find somewhere else to donate in the future.

Omg! I LOVE it here!!! Things are reasonably priced (from what I came across). There wasn’t one thing i saw there that looked like it should have just been thrown out! It is bigger than what it looks like from the outside. It’s very clean and organized! I am so happy to have found this place!!!

The staff at this location are great! I visit here a few times a week and I have come home with many treasures. Endless books and pieces of furniture. This is one of my favorite thrift stores in the area.

Brooklyn museum has a variety of art styles. The staff was friendly and resourceful. I liked that the app allowed me direct access to ask the historians questions via text.

Unfortunate experience with donation. Did a clean up in the house. Had some semi valuable items in our vehicle, a fairly new blender, nice steelers cutting board still in the box, new shower chair, some depression glass, antique linens, etc. along with other gently used housewares. Pulled up behind the store and lifted the hatch on my vehicle to unload the boxes. An older male comes out and without even coming down from the platform, says, I don't think we can take your items... Is this leftovers from a yard sale? Um, no says I, I didn't have a yard sale, I am donating. Again without really looking, he says "I think we'd end up throwing most of your items away." He really had no way of seeing into the vehicle. I just said fine, hit the button to close the hatch and drove to the Habitat Store in New Ken. They were happy to take my donation. I think it's time for this fellow to retire from volunteering and go back to yelling at kids for being on his lawn, as he certainly has no idea how to deal with the public. I'll pray for him, but I would recommend to the store to keep him away from the customers and donors. He is doing your store and organizations reputation no favors with that attitude.

I was told what a great place to purchase used clothing. I was in need of a sofa for my game room so I decided to go to this Thrift Store. I found a sofa, cabinet for my TV, and 2 glass top end tables. All items have flaws from use but are in good condition and I am happy with my purchase that was under $200. This store is very clean which is a plus to me and always busy. In need of a table and chairs, I again visited the St. VINCENT de Paul Thrift Store and found a round Oak Table and 4 Plush chairs for under $90. Even though these items have flaws from use, they are all in good usable clean condition and I would recommend this store to anyone.
