I've been coming to this studio for years and it never disappoints. The instructors are first rate - helpful with poses, adapting classes to the mood, and always offering options allowing students to adapt classes to their needs. Lynn has created such a welcoming space - it's a pleasure coming here.

It has been about two years that I have been treating myself to yoga at The Light Within Studio and I love it! I was totally new to yoga and the teachers have been extremely helpful in making me feel completely comfortable learning at my own pace. It sounds cliche, but it is life changing. It is so relaxing! From the second I walk in it is just a different world. It is the best gift I have ever given myself. I am stronger, much more flexible and free from previous back pain.

I took my second real yoga class ever tonight. (The first was two weeks ago - same class). Lynn is a great teacher and I really felt like I got a nice workout, had fun, and did something good for myself. I felt very comfortable, and even though I’m new, I didn’t feel like anyone was judging me.

Studio was sold in October, 2017. The review below is from well before that transfer of ownership/management. I'm disappointed in many of the related changes. Still hoping to adjust to the changes and continue practicing at the Light Within. Time will tell. **************** I feel so fortunate to have the Light Within right here in my little town. I cannot imagine a more wonderful yoga studio. I love the ambiance of this warm and cozy space. I adore the instructors, who are skilled practitioners and excellent teachers, devoted to finding ways of making the experience meet the needs of each student. There are classes for those at many levels and varieties of practice. I highly recommend the Light Within!

The Light Within has excellent teachers. Allison and Alexis are very sensitive to the needs of the students in each and every class. They allow students to grow at their own pace and don't push. The gentle/restorative class is wonderful especially for folks who have started yoga at a later age. It has made a being difference in my outlook and well being. Sherry Migliore

I absolutely love The Light Within Yoga Studio! It offers a warm, relaxing environment which gives you a challenging yoga practice. I honestly feel like I was able to get stronger on the inside as well as the outside. Alison is an amazing person and teacher. She teaches to all levels and makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable. I highly recommend!
