I love the Ahimsa Yoga Studio in Berwyn. Everyone there is so nice and friendly, and the space is on the small side, which gives it a cozy atmosphere (there are usually no more than 5-6 people in the classes I've gone to, so it's not crowded). I always feel better and more relaxed after a class here. I've tried yoga multiple times in the past but never stuck with it -- but Ahimsa got me hooked, now I have a monthly membership!

The beginner yoga class didn't rush through the poses and really allowed us to get deeper into each pose for the most benefit. The instructor seemed to be bothered with everyone wasn't leading with the same foot though and kept commenting that we were all being really quiet (personally I would rather have a quiet practice) and that subtracted from the experience. The drop in fee was affordable for a 75 min class and ultimately I really enjoyed it. I want to try other classes at all the studios now!

I picked this studio because it was close to home and just one week into the introductory month I was hooked. I've practiced yoga on and off for years but never committed to a studio membership and mostly practiced at home with videos. The introductory offer is an amazing value and gives you a chance to find your favorite teacher/class/time without spending a fortune. There's an amazing variety of classes so there's something for everyone and you get access to all studios with a single membership. And of course all the teachers are great. I also loved that when I first walked in I didn't feel like I was interrupting a clique, which had been my experience at most other yoga studios I've tried. I've been recommending this studio to all my friends and family.

Great variety of classes and instructors. All levels will find a great class and beginners will feel welcomed and supported. I started with zero experience and after two years I feel stronger, calmer and dedicated to a life-long yoga practice. I encourage people who are new to the studio to try as many classes as possible and to try the same class and instructor more than once. If you are a member you can practice at their other locations. You will find your perfect fit. I have heard so many people say yoga is not for me, not good exercise, too pretentious, only for thin people. All not true! Go to an Ahimsa studio today!

Just started coming here a month ago. My favorite instructors are Mona and Dale. Happy to know this studio exists near my home and offers classes at all times with different instructors. When I took the Vinyasa class I didn’t feel like I was competing against others, the class was very relaxed and it flowed smoothly. Their app is very helpful in scheduling classes and informative about the type class you want to take that day. When I arrive to class I automatically feel at peace and comfortable. Thanks for existing so close to home and for having such a great staff.

Let me start by saying, that I had practiced yoga for a short while just for the physical challenges of a new/different workout; before attending an Ahimsa yoga class. After my first class at Ahimsa yoga studio, I had a whole new viewpoint on the benefits of yoga. I gained a new level of self awareness and relaxation that I enjoyed in and out of class. Their staff is very professional and polite creating a great atmosphere for everyone. They have great teachers that are passionate for their craft. I recommend this place to anyone with a open mind.

I've been a member at Ahimsa in Berwyn for over a year now and I absolutely love it! The Berwyn Yoga studio offers a wide variety of classes and the instructors are very helpful. The classes are accessible for all levels of experience and continue to provide growth for more advanced students. Since I've started doing yoga regularly with Ahimsa, my flexibility and strength has increased while the pain and tension in my muscles and joints have completely disappeared. I would recommend it for any age!

The studio is very clean and cozy. The people you meet there, teachers and students and work_studies, are all friendly. The classes include many different times and for different levels of Yoga experience. It is conveniently located a half block away from the train station and the 6:15 pm classes on weekdays are perfect for people working downtown and taking the 5:36 BNSF train home. The teachers are wonderful, very knowledgeable and kind, encouraging. I love this Ahimsa Yoga Studio and highly recommend it!

I typically attend classes at the Oak Park studio, but recently attended an event at the Berwyn location. I went to a Sound Bath with Chuck Merydith. The studio space was open and welcoming, with lots of natural light. The staff are friendly and helpful. The class schedule provides lots of options for various types of yoga, and offers a chance to work with different instructors. My experience with Ahimsa has been fantastic all around, and with 3 locations I have no complaints

I really love this studio. First of all the classes do not get over crowded. I am the type that needs some room around me or I am not comfortable. Second the teachers are very well trained. I usually go to Laura on Sunday mornings. My daughter and I both go together. Laura explains exactly what to do and each class is always different. She is also very friendly. Third there is always parking. Fourth I really love the energy of the studio If I had to make one critique it would be the time it takes to pay. I think their computers are a bit slow (?) All in all the $18 per class is worth it. If you get a monthly pass its cheaper.
