Kind of like the Walmart of optometry. A different experience with a tech doing some of the legwork I am used to having an optometrist do. Still, modern equipment and a very good optometrist. They are running short staffed and it is apparent in the service. Don’t count on online hours. Arrived at 430 on a Saturday posted as open until 7 only to find they closed at 4. See pic.

I really appreciated my visit to VisionWorks. The staff were gracious, efficient and quick. There was no pushing to buy items and add ons that I've found other locations try to push their clients to buy. Greatly recommended

Wow! Best eye doctor visit ever. The whole family got eye exams and glasses. The optometrist, Susan Charnecki-Sincavage, was amazing. She didn't rush through my childrens exams, informed me every step of the way & answered every question. She even took extra care to clean every surface & tool before and after each use during the exam. Very impressed, we will be back again.

My friend and I went in to Vision Works. They would not let him take his mask off to fit his glasses, therefore were fitted incorrectly. The also told him his insurance would cover his glasses. It did not. Also his new glasses were extremely poor quality.

Extremely disappointed with the service and attitude with Visionworks Wilkes Barre. When you purchase contacts from any vision store the first thing you should be receiving is the rebate / rewards form for the contacts. I asked for it that night and got a runaround on how they couldn’t find them. I called today because you need the rewards code in order to submit the contacts. Per Acuvue this form is supplied by the provider. Per the girl at Visionworks, we don’t have any. Contact Acuvue. I’ve been submitting rebate/rewards forms for years but this is a first. I will never return to Visionworks when this is the attitude and “helpfulness “ provided after the fact.

Super Service and fair prices. Not only that the optometrist is very thorough and explained my problem completely. I also found that the prices on contacts and glasses are better than even the discount chains and I would recommend this office very highly. The entire staff is nice but I would especially like to single out Dyson and Nancy for their advice

I'll share a short story. I purchased glasses from Sears before it closed and subsequently broke them (without getting the protection plan). I went to LensCrafters who told me there was nothing I could do other than tape them or buy a brand new pair. Mind you, my insurance only allows one pair per year so I would have needed to pay for new glasses completely out of pocket or wait until the following year. I went to Visionworks and spoke with a gentleman who listened to my issue and gave me options. One option was to pay for new lenses/frames out of pocket and they could add the discount promotion that was happening. I looked around and the glasses I chose would've cost almost $400 out of pocket (with lenses, uv protection, etc). Alternatively, he stated since the lenses in my frames were fine, if I could buy the same frames that broke online, he would put the lenses in the new frames for me, free of charge, so that is what I did. He put the old lenses in my new frames as promised, adjusted the frames to fit my face as well and this ultimately saved me a lot of money. I have never been to Visionworks before this but this experience will make me a repeat customer. You can't beat excellent customer service and genuine staff. (I've also learned my lesson, I'll be getting the protection plan from now on LOL!)

Quick and excellent service. If you already have an appointment, it's lightning quick. Longest part was picking out frames. Little lengthy on waiting to pick up the glasses, but I suppose that's everywhere. But you're in and out when picking them up; don't think I spent more than 2 minutes inside.

The employees at vision works are very friendly and professional. Everyone, from the front desk to the optometrists, make sure to you know what is going on and answer any questions you may have. The selection of frames were great and the turnaround time for picking up my glasses was pretty quick. I have insurance but it didn't cover everything, however what I paid out of pocket was , I thought, a good price. I will definitely be using vision works again.
