Nice little attraction in downtown Columbia. The museum isn’t that big, but has a good variety of art on display. Ticket prices are cheap, and the museum is near other restaurants and things to do. Would probably keep you entertained for an hour or few, depends on your pace and whether or not you take your time and read and really observe everything. It is kid friendly as well.

Nice art museum not far from the capital building. Smaller and has 2 floors but when I went second floor gallery was closed. First floor had a inspired by Monet exhibit and some other interesting art.

I came here with my significant other because we were looking for something to do while in the city. It was $5 for students, which is really nice. I really liked the exhibits, and the people working were very kind and knowledgable. Very nice, very clean, and very interesting. I think my favorite part was the temporary exhibits, most specifically, the 22 South Carolinians. I think it was super cool to see art that was inspired by South Carolina. I highly recommend visiting.

Beautiful museum. Visited from Charlotte to attend an event there part of the food and wine festival. A cocktail competition, and it included museum admission. Really enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful artwork.

Amazing collection, $10 entry. From Rodin, Quayyum, to Monet, to the Naivety; they have everything. It's well worth coming here; but I took some photos of you can't. Free wifi and seats if you get tired

This was a great and relaxing experience. You never realize how a piece of art can give you so many emotions. I was lucky enough to see some pieces from Rodin, but what brought me joy and peace was the light boxes from Aniya. Truly need to see these exhibits and so much more.

Such a nice facility. Very thoughtful that they offer free admission to people with an EBT card. Hopefully the community knows and are taking advantage of it. Great exhibits.

First Thursdays at the Columbia Museum of Art are Free for local residents. Escorted one of my high school students and we both enjoyed the Gallery. Two floors of artwork. A great place for a tour and a date.

The art here is simply wonderful. Please check it out for yourself. I really recommend coming here on the first Thursday of a month, as there may be free admission or street truck food vendors nearby, as there were when I came to the museum. Also, the staff here are caring and really knowledgable, willing to share their knowledge of and opinions on art. While the extent of the exhibits / art displayed is a bit limited (it's not a big museum), the exhibits are always hugely interesting and the art that's on rotation throughout the year is incredible and diverse. The museum is also in wonderful shape and private events are possible here, too. Just a really cool place with great art
