I took my car in for my scheduled appointment yesterday. When I booked my appointment I was told they would be able to do a inside detail of my car and maintenance (just a tire rotation). I told the lady that I spoke with that I’ve already had not so great detail experiences with Jim Hudson in the past and to please make sure I was put with someone that did a good job with detailing. I dropped my car off before 11am and picked it up at 2:30pm…three and a half hours for a tire rotation . The inside of my car had not even been touched when I picked my vehicle up. It had been parked outside “ready to go”. Jim Hudson offered to let me use a rental for the rest of the day so that it could be detailed. I received a call at 4 PM from the detail department asking if they could continue working on my car that evening and finish it up in the morning. I did not want to keep the rental overnight but I agreed and told him that I was going to see a patient in Charlotte this morning and then I would be back around lunchtime to pick the car up. I arrived at Jim Hudson at 1 PM and the pictures below are the results of my interior detail. I was not charged for this “detail” BUT i’m having to take it elsewhere today to have somebody else do it for me. Also none of the windows inside of my car had been cleaned. DO NOT waste your time or money. I’m not sure what was done in the 10 business hours my car was left at Jim Hudson for detail but being detailed was NOT one of them. I have been using Jim Hudson for the last three years and I’ve had many good and not so good experiences. But I have never had one so bad that I felt I needed to leave a bad review.

Was very interested in buying a tundra since they have a few on the lot. Called numerous times and talked to a few people and left messages. Been three weeks and no call back just excuses everytime I call or go up there and still no numbers ran on any vehicle. I have bought well over 10-15 cars from jim Hudson within my family over the last 20-30 years. Customer service at this dealership is a 0. Will definitely be the end of using jim Hudson dealerships for any purchases since the customer is there last priority at the end of the day who wants to buy. It was so bad that the financing office said they would not run my credit or even try to put a deal together for my ram to trade for a tundra. I was told that nothing could be done and to have a good day. Update on this issue I ended up going to Lugoff Toyota who offered me 9k more than Jim Hudson Toyota and got me in a higher trim package with no money down and an amazing low apr and My fully loaded 21 tundra is sitting in my front yard and the customer service was amazing and super great staff at Lugoff Toyota who made my buying experience easy and quick unlike the poor customer service I received at Jim Hudson

I wanted to leave a review of my salesperson that helped me with my car purchase today, Carson Richards. He was so knowledgeable about our vehicle and was so polite, courteous, and patient with us! I cannot recommend him enough! He was a delight to work with! One star removed because the attitude of the managerial staff could be improved at this dealership. We had two encounters with the same manager, both the first time we visited and today, and let's just say he needs a better bedside manner. I'm a fellow salesperson of 23+ years, just in a different industry, and I know that attitude is not what it takes for repeat customers.

Had a great experience buying our new truck at Jim Hudson. Angel was my sales person and he was great. Knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. Didn't try to upsell me anything and gave us the high end of the Kelly Blue Book value on our trade in. In addition, he drove the truck back to our house and drove the trade in back to the dealership. He went above and beyond to help us. We also had some floor runners installed on our truck and Carlos from services was excellent and super accommodating. He helped me schedule a last minute appointment and we got the installation done in less time than he told me. First time buying a car from this dealership, but it won't be our last, mainly because of Angel and Carlos.

We came in looking for a specific car but was informed that another buyer put money down on it. We were kept in the loop while traveling to Irmo from Goose Creek. We continued our trip to see what was available. We were met and worked with Angel Cedeno! What a pleasant experience. Looked at cars, took a test drive and purchased an Avalon!!!! Super excited. Angel could not have been more courteous, helpful, and enjoyable to work with. He was super helpful explaining all of the bells and whistles on the car. If I to rate our experience on a 1 to 10 scale…….. I would rate Jim Hudson / Angel Cordero experience a 20! Thank you! I highly recommend Jim Hudson Toyota!

I bought a new Toyota Highlander today! It was a great experience with Jim Hudson Toyota and Angel Cedeno. He is such a professional and easy person to work with. Angel went out of his way to make the entire process smoothly and his attention to detail was spot on! I will definitely recommend him who is interested in buying a new Toyota!

Friday I bought my third car from Carson Richards! I have loved every one I have gotten from him! He’s knowledgeable and gives the best customer service! I highly suggest anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle to get an appointment with him! I’m in my dream car! He got me in a 2018 Volkswagen Passat and I could not be happier! I feel safe in it and it’s so pretty!

I was searching for a unicorn--a red 4Runner Limited with 3rd row seating--and Tom Burley LITERALLY went the extra mile to find me my red unicorn. He managed to pull some strings and intercept this 4Runner on its way to another dealership, then on delivery day, he drove 77 miles towards Augusta to help shorten my trip since I was driving from North Georgia (he did this without me even asking for it). He was not pushy like other salesmen out there who tried everything they could to sell me other 4Runners that did not meet my requirements, he was honest and straightforward, easy to communicate with and always kept me in the loop during the 3-weeks we waited for the vehicle to arrive at the dealership....he honestly is the best salesman I've ever dealt with and to top things off, he did NOT put a Market Price Adjustment on my car even though he clearly knew I was desperately looking for it everywhere, willing to drive across state lines to buy it and they were the ONLY dealer in the South Region who had exactly what I was looking for at that time. He literally saved me thousands on my purchase and I just cannot say enough positive things about Tom Burley and my whole purchase experience because I still can't believe I got such a great deal! If you're in the market look for this guy, he will most definitely take care of you.

If you’re like me, whenever you think about purchasing a new car it can be exciting but the actual process is usually like pulling teeth and just overall stressful. That wasn’t the case though with my experience at Jim Hudson Toyota. Greg Joy knew exactly what kind of car I was looking for and he spent several MONTHS trying to find that perfect car for me. He was so patient and kind throughout the whole ordeal. By the time I found one on the lot at Jim Hudson, Greg had moved to another department but recommended Len Wall to help me with the purchase. Len was great, attentive and knowledgeable about the car. He made sure I was fully informed of everything. Both of these guys really went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the whole experience. I can’t say enough good things about them!
