Thanks to Jordan for getting my eight year old HP desktop up and running again. He installed a new SSD, thoroughly cleaned the interior of the computer housing, and installed Windows 10. I am amazed that this is the same computer! So quiet now, and as quick as it was when first purchased all those years ago. Don't waste your time with Best Buy. Quickly and honestly debugged and repaired an urgent hardware problem. They could have taken me for a part I didn't need but let me know my original part was misconfigured. Requested a cleanup of the interior of the computer and was shocked by their thoroughness! See the pics, its a 6.5 year old computer that had never been cleaned.
