How are you an auto parts store but you don't even sell a tool to take a tire off. Very disappointing

I recently bought a car part from this location. After hours of frustration and 2 parts later i was up and running again. I no longer needed the part i had gotten from Auto Zone so i decided i would return it. I walk into autozone with part (**and receipt**)in hand and explain to the employee what i needed. After the manager who was whispering to all the other employees decided he had a moment he then decided to hassle me about the card i purchased the part with after realizing the card was not on my person but in fact 50 miles away carefully tucked in my wife’s back pocket. I at that point asked him if he could give me cash back instead since i had paid debit. So this man preceded to inform me the receipt has been processed already and i wouldn’t be able to attempt to return it anywhere else for a long crazy amount of days that has such slipped my mind. Long story short i had to drive from knoxville to piegon forge with gas 4.59 a gallon To get the correct card and still be sitting here for days after the return without the refunded money

They have the nicest older gentlemen working there. He signed me up for points when I've always declined but because of how sweet he was, how could I say no. I guess it was that he old fashioned and a true gentlemen and mentioned my last name being a traditional German name. Which nobody mentions anymore. Retirees are the best kept secret to great customer service. The younger generation could learn a lot from them on how to treat people in the real world.

Clean store, well mannered helpful employees. Leaving a positive review although over phone it seems parts finding has been a hassle, I believe upper management should train better on software/catalog.

The staff is very knowledgeable about running specials on combination deals. Also, I'm not very savvy about auto parts. Staff was able to give recommendations based on price and longevity of products.
