This Family Dollar has consistanly had the rudest, laziest most disrespectful employees for the last few months. I guess the powers that be are really scraping the bottom of the barrel at this store when they hire new employees.

Went into the store to pick up something really quick!! was on the phone with my friends and an employee asked about me parking and in the mean time I felt it would be smart to go ahead and purchase my items before I moved my vehicle since I was already in line and was told to leave the store because I was being smart when in fact I wasnt!! I was on the phone with my friends!! I will NEVER be back to this store!!

It was very clean, the employee I dealt with was very nice. They had a great selection of cat food,unlike some other stores. Great prices too!!

Went into the store to pick up something really quick!! was on the phone with my friends and an employee asked about me parking and in the mean time I felt it would be smart to go ahead and purchase my items before I moved my vehicle since I was already in line and was told to leave the store because I was being smart when in fact I wasnt!! I was on the phone with my friends!! I will NEVER be back to this store!!

Stereotypes in action. Hard working people stop in to get their familys basic needs met and are treated like an invisible nuisance for their trouble. Its a shame when people are being paid to stand around an scowl at people. My worst trip here thè cashier with 2 inch long talons that rendered her even more useless, managed to ring up my memory card and then conveniently drop it in the floor and act like nothing happened, till my child called her out. Guess if they could hire better people they would. Better off wandering the empty shelves of dollar general. There employees are too lazy to stock but are generally friendly and helpful anyway. Pick your sad statement on the rot of america between the two.

This is the Family Dollar I frequently shop at and ALL summer lond it has been MISERABLY HOT due to the air conditioning not working properly. The candles and chocolates are melting. The freezers are not as cold. The workers are MISERABLE. Some are elderly, pregnant or have other health ailments that the heat is aggravating. The customers are constantly complaining. I personally broke out in a sweat from just shopping for a few household items today. This major issue needs to be addressed and handled PRONTO otherwise I think this establishment will be losing loyal customers like myself and hard working employees.

It was nice and clean the only problem I had was when I went to check out the cashier had her phone on and they were some one fussing on it she never look at me or said anything I got my bags and receipt and left

Good place for purchasing disposables, foil, wrap, trashbags, plastic cups, etc. Fair selection of most anything and I will give 5 stars to most who haven't abandoned South Knoxville. Try it, what's to lose!

This store is a little bit out of my way, but I always enjoy going to when I can. I usually find some great deals on some unexpected items. They have really good home decor pieces like paintings and signs. Some cute clothing items were found too. The price is reasonable. Don't let the dollar in the name for you. Not everything is a dollar. Most of it is not. But again a nice place to shop. I can't recall the person who checked me out, but he was very friendly and helpful.
