Hasn't changed much. Fye still has alot of music and gift items. Also a decent place to look for anime figurines.

great place!! only downside is their cds are incredibly pricey. Reputation by Taylor Swift was a whole $20!! I got it anyway

It had been possibly since December since my last visit and the store had been reorganized. I completely understand that the 'E' stands for entertainment. I miss old school music stores. This is no fault of the local store. The employees were friendly and engaging. There's just so much "stuff." Every store wants to be the one stop shop for all things... It ends up making the retail footprint look cluttered and without an identity.

Mediocre music store. The focus is much more on toys here than on cds or records. Metal section was small and new cds priced as high as $22.

Incredibly overpriced, what would usually be a $30 album was $60, the merchandise is lazily laid out, and the records weren't in great condition.

Overpriced DVDs and CDs. But it's fine to see all the interesting foods and entertainment stuff from other countries.

Get a membership and hit it find all kinds of stuff that you would never ever imagine you'd ever find nor own.. amazing store with amazing stuff and staff as well if you don't go you're missing out

How was it? HOW WAS IT?!?! It seems to get worse each time I walk in that place. Things are so disorganized while the store continues to pride itself on those legendary high prices. They literally sell t.v. box sets for TWICE the price of other competitors who carry the same item and I'm speaking in terms of OTHER PHYSICAL RETAILERS!! Now don't even get me started with Amazon on other on-line options. Someone needs to tell this company that there's a competitive market out there for EVERYTHING they're selling. Additional example is the marvel legends action figures they're selling for close to 30 dollars and about 6 to 8 dollars above other retail outlets. How the hell do you keep the doors open? There HAS TO BE a gimmick to this that I missed out on in economics class.

So there's this sign posted. Grabbed 2 steel books bc well thats a heck of a deal. Get to the register and the cashier is rude when we ask why they didn't ring up with the discount. She states that the deal was only for steelbooks on that rack. Asked her why the sign didn't specify. She rudely stated it didn't need to. I said thats fine it was just confusing from the sign. She rolled her eyes and stated it should have been obvious. This was by far the worse experience in FYE I've ever had. I hope no one else has to ever experience such horrible attitude from a worker there.

Not quite as big of a selection that I'm accustomed to but decent sale prices and friendly staff willing to help you find exactly what you've been looking for! Just in case you need a map, see attached! We parked at the Belk, took the escalator down & found FYE just there on the right!
