8 Best variety store in Knoxville, Tennessee (TN) 2024

I haven't been shopping at Dollar Tree since they raised prices to $1.25, it's something about buying 4 items when I used to buy 5 for the same price. For the past four years I have bought starlight mints at Dollar Tree. They're pretty good. But the mints in the bag I got today was obviously smaller than they have been in the past. Paying more for less mint. ~Virginia

This Dollar Tree is, by far, the trashiest one I’ve been to. I worked at Dollar Tree in my hometown, and we would’ve been fired on the spot for the things that those workers are doing. The entire place is a mess, the worker was playing with her belly button ring while checking out the man in front of me, and the workers were also rude. I also bought pork skins and realized after leaving that they were expired, by TWO WEEKS. Now the policy I was taught was that anything that’s expired CAN NOT be sold! In all honesty just avoid this Dollar Tree if you can. It’s awful! ~Emily

What kind of manager complains that customers are coming in the store 30 minutes before closing? openly and loudly complains! then tells customers she can only take cards because she’s already closed out the cash drawers?? The store had at least 10 people shopping when I was there at 9:35. ~JoyAnna

The staff was friendly and polite. The merchandise was neat, aisles wide, and store clean. Theres only one way out. We tried a new candy bar.. ~Wes

They over charge here nothing is in the correct place price is always different ar checkout it's says a dollar but you check out it will be $4.95 scanners warch what you buy here I bought sanitizers $1.00 each end up charging 3,45 each the $1.00 isle is the worst rake it foen because everything is marked wrong on it I won't be back ~R

Out of all the Dollar Trees, and yes there are many, this has to be one of my favorite. The same three employees I usually see which can be a great thing or bad thing but we're not here to judge that today. They do have smiling faces and always willing to step away from the register and help you with your needs even though there's only like 10 Isles. They know where everything is, they know their products, they know what they do have and don't have which is oh so great! This is a must go to if you're going to the nearby movies because they stock perfectly $1 priced boxed movie Style candy for all of our pleasures and needs! The Isles are all cleaned and they even have holiday items at least a month and a half ahead of time ready to go. This is a great place to get some cheap toys also for kids in addition to party favors and even if you just want to Window Shop and tease your children, this is the perfect place to go. They have balloons Galore for last-minute pickups and celebrations in all the kitchen utensils you could ask for. For some reason every Dollar Tree does not pay attention to that little detail but this one does. ~Brandon

Overpriced DVDs and CDs. But it's fine to see all the interesting foods and entertainment stuff from other countries. ~Chris

Updated: From 5 Star to 3. This was a great store when it first opened. Had a great manager. Now, shelves are empty. Stock carts are ALL OVER the store blocking shelves and isles. Ice cream freezers have been out and empty for 2 months. It is still a clean store. Original review: I ove going in this store! It's always clean and I always spend too much money!! :) ~Jennifer
