16 Best convenience store in Knoxville, Tennessee (TN) 2024

6/17/22 - This is one of the Pilot's that changed to Casey's back in January 2022 but nothing has changed for years. The staff here has always been fantastic: Patient, forgiving & kind in most situations. They will often give you a few bucks worth of food or gas if you're "stuck" here (or until the police show up). I am amazed they have kept the bathrooms as clean as they are because of all the dirty customers that walk in. They still have weekly homeless & druggie visitor problems & Knoxville PD is well aware. Good luck driving out of here during rush hour, they need a back way to get to the traffic light or you'll be stuck here forever. Nonetheless, this used to be one of the places to go for the cheapest gas if you're passing by, but ever since Casey's took over, it's just another pricy gouge. ~Michael

Overall great Travel Centers of America truck stop . Easy access of i40 Tennessee. Decent parking lot plenty unpaid spaces. TA shop well maintained professional staff good knowledgeable technicians good quality services. Clean restrooms typical truck stop...driver lounge, showers etc. NO restaurant at this location but has deli grill. No workout room either. Only con also be careful fuel island directly front of shop No pull up room after fueling. Highly recommend to all truckers and travelers. ~KB

No greeting upon entering, no offer of any assistance, but I had called ahead to ensure that they had a particular item I was looking for. I was informed that they did, so I drove all the way across town, just to learn that they really didn't. Then I was called a liar when I confronted the guy I had spoke with on the phone! I needed to find waist high compression hose. All that they had were knee highs. I had specifically asked him, several times, if they were waist, thigh or knee high length. On the phone, he disrespectfully said "I'm looking at it reading right off the package to you.". So I politely ask him to please show me the package he had read to me, so I could simply see if it was the manufacturer or him giving false information. He literally said, it was the last pack and someone else had just bought them! SERIOUSLY?!?!?!🤨😒Whatever child! You've already proven yourself a liar, so ain't nobody trying to hear that mess coming out ya mouth. I left. The End. ~Becci

Called pharmacy at 9am to get my headache meds filled, a female technician (I assume) told me that my meds will be ready at 12:30. I asked if I can get it sooner (due to excruciating headache and work schedule).. Her responce was "I will try, but we are very busy right now". I went straight to the pharmacy.. They had only one customer in the entire CVS! A female technician was again the one greeting me.. And she asked if I just called about my meds. I said yes.. She told me with an attitude that she will get it when she can.. and just kept doing her things.. The phone rang off the hook while I was there.. Nobody seems to care to answer for about 10 minutes. A a female technician was talking very loudly, telling jokes, her personal stories, and just had overall disrespectful attitude toward customers.. taking her sweet time talking instead of assisting people... Guys in another hand were great.. Respectful, humble, and ready to assist. A male tech was the one who gave me my meds. ~Olga

Improperly verified my ID for a covid test and my results had the wrong birth date so it was unusable. Called and they wouldn't fix it, wouldn't reschedule another test, completely unhelpful. ~Levente

This is THE WORST pharmacy! EVERY month they mess up my prescription refill dates, hold my prescriptions, and don’t notify me of issues in time to solve this. this will be the Ssecond time this year that the medication i’ve been on four 10 years is “out of stock”. they don’t tell me until 2p that they will not be restocked until tuesday and I can’t have it transferred! my dr is on half days since covid and i can’t call u til monday. I WOLL NEVER USE CVS AGAIN!! ~Contessina

What kind of manager complains that customers are coming in the store 30 minutes before closing? openly and loudly complains! then tells customers she can only take cards because she’s already closed out the cash drawers?? The store had at least 10 people shopping when I was there at 9:35. ~JoyAnna

The staff was friendly and polite. The merchandise was neat, aisles wide, and store clean. Theres only one way out. We tried a new candy bar.. ~Wes
