10 Best grocery store in Knoxville, Tennessee (TN) 2024

I shop here when I need the essentials. Its cheaper than the bigger stores. This place is usually busy and they try hard to open registers when the lines are long. If you need more than a few items bring your own bag. ~Brandon

It is a clean and professionally run grocery store. I love the meat department - excellent seafood, steaks, burgers and poultry. The only butcher shop we use. The entire store is well stocked and rarely run out of items. Slightly higher prices but the discount card offsets most. Great local market feel... ~anthony

I haven't been shopping at Dollar Tree since they raised prices to $1.25, it's something about buying 4 items when I used to buy 5 for the same price. For the past four years I have bought starlight mints at Dollar Tree. They're pretty good. But the mints in the bag I got today was obviously smaller than they have been in the past. Paying more for less mint. ~Virginia

Drove all the way to the Walmart in Clinton from Townsend Tennessee. About $35.00 in gas round trip. We had purchased three cans of formula online and had a Saturday pick up time. This order was confirmed and paid online. Upon going to the pick up area our order was cancelled while we waited for them to bring it out. Our anger level is through the roof as our daughter needed this formula. The staff informed us they stock the shelf and pick orders before the pick up time. So it and our three cans we paid for were all sold. What a stupid process!!!! Walmart charged our credit card but didn't secure our purchase. They put my daughter's well being in jeopardy and that is unforgivable. This is lousey customer service and a terrible way to do buisness. Nobody apologized or offered any help in making this situation right. We will not forget our treatment and use Target for our purchases in the future. ~John

Mary and Sally in the flower department are absolutely amazing in their care and experience, We we’re so confident that we allowed them to do our wedding flowers. Always a any occasion flower shop if need they can get and always quality and better price. And always a amazing display of different variety’s. Don’t over pay. The smiles of these two show they love to help people. ~Michael

It's down to scanning your own groceries for the most part. The flavored waters are on the highest shelf so good luck getting them down. I have to call for an associate to get a ladder to just get some waters. It's very time consuming. Same for other items women would be shopping for. They have very reasonable prices and most items are always in stock. I have personally found that of your looking for a specialty items your more likely to find it at Krogers or Public's however your going to pay a much higher premium for it. The online shopping is the best way to get a return on items that were not good such as fruits and vegetables. The last three watermelons I've bought were all bad. With all that being said, it is convinent and my granddaughter loves pushing her buggy with her baby doll. She loves wearing her mask in Walmart. The restrooms are not as clean as they should be. ~Lorrie

This Dollar Tree is, by far, the trashiest one I’ve been to. I worked at Dollar Tree in my hometown, and we would’ve been fired on the spot for the things that those workers are doing. The entire place is a mess, the worker was playing with her belly button ring while checking out the man in front of me, and the workers were also rude. I also bought pork skins and realized after leaving that they were expired, by TWO WEEKS. Now the policy I was taught was that anything that’s expired CAN NOT be sold! In all honesty just avoid this Dollar Tree if you can. It’s awful! ~Emily

Out of all the Dollar Trees, and yes there are many, this has to be one of my favorite. The same three employees I usually see which can be a great thing or bad thing but we're not here to judge that today. They do have smiling faces and always willing to step away from the register and help you with your needs even though there's only like 10 Isles. They know where everything is, they know their products, they know what they do have and don't have which is oh so great! This is a must go to if you're going to the nearby movies because they stock perfectly $1 priced boxed movie Style candy for all of our pleasures and needs! The Isles are all cleaned and they even have holiday items at least a month and a half ahead of time ready to go. This is a great place to get some cheap toys also for kids in addition to party favors and even if you just want to Window Shop and tease your children, this is the perfect place to go. They have balloons Galore for last-minute pickups and celebrations in all the kitchen utensils you could ask for. For some reason every Dollar Tree does not pay attention to that little detail but this one does. ~Brandon

Easy to park. Big front entrance. Layout makes shopping simple and convenient. Checkout is simple with either cashier or doing it yourself. ~Floyd
