EXCELLENT Burger! And CELIAC SAFE kitchen! My gluten free bun was really good! The fries are done in a separate fryer. Friendly service, food made fresh to order. Will definitely be a frequent favorite!

We were searching for somewhere different to eat and we found it at Backwoods Burger Bar. They are a little off the main drag but definitely worth going. Menu was great with interesting names for all the burgers. Probably the best burger I have had in Kingsport. The whole family had a good time. Service was excellent and all the food and appetizers were great. Will be back again.

Went there for the first time today with a friend for lunch. The service was very good. Burgers were so good too. Perfect portions. They have gluten free buns if you have a gluten allergy. I will definitely be back!

This was so good! The pickle fries were amazing. Blue cheese was perfect. Burger was good through and still juice and tender. Definitely will be back.

I was looking for a place that we hadn't been to before and found Backwoods Burger Bar in downtown Kingsport. We hadn't heard of it before, but the menu looked really good. My wife, daughter, and I all ordered burgers (since it was National Hamburger Day, May 28) with 3 different sides: Onion Rings, Homemade Hand-cut Fries, and Fried Banana Peppers, so that we could all try each of them. Everything was delicious! You will not be disappointed. The burgers are a half pound, and I was told that the owner said that his burgers do not require condiments. He was right! I got the Backwoods Burger because I wanted to try the pulled pork bbq which is made in house that was on it. It had a delicious smokey flavor and was very moist. We are looking forward to going back. The service was outstanding. I hope I'm getting the name right. If not, I'm sorry. On my receipt, it shows Ramona. She said that she had been there since the restaurant opened. She was very personable and told us about the history of the restaurant and the owner. She checked on us multiple times. It was an all around Great experience! I highly recommend that you try this restaurant out.

BEST BURGER N TOWN. I have been here dozens of times. I have Never had a wrong order or a bad burger. Personally feel the burger is Perfect every time. Not too done or too raw. Sides are excellent. Love the Fried banana pepper option. Always a generous portion. This ALL is why I give 5 Stars.. Sh@$ is TRUE & YES I've had every Burger on the menu!!!!

The best selection of craft beer in Kingsport! Ice cold from the tap. Seriously delicious food. I definitely recommend their pimento cheese and pork rinds. High quality burgers with the freshest ingredients. Our server Whitney was fantastic. The atmosphere is really laid back and family friendly.

Great place for unique burgers. The pulled pork fries are highly recommended. The service was slow as they were busy so be prepared to stay a while. Even though it took a while for our food it was worth the wait. We are thankful for those employees giving it their all specifically in the food industry these days.

Excellent burger, possibly the best in Kingsport. Many interesting and tasty sides available as well. I tried my daughter-in-law's BBQ grilled cheese and it was also really good.
