Wow! I was very pleasantly surprised after the first bite of my cheeseburger and cheesesteak sandwich. 10/10 deliciousness and the service was great. This burger reminded me so much of what I grew up eating!

The best Onion Rings I've had in a long time. Nice 50's era deco. Prices are average. The burger was good but didn't stand out among others...but the Onion Rings did.

Had high hopes for this place as a local, but it was kind of a mess. Ordered ahead a sandwich and shake online, took twice as long as it said when food would be ready. Shake hadn’t been made when food was brought out and had to remind them. Toppings on sandwich were completely wrong, and it was some of the blandest food I’ve ever had. Definitely not worth what I paid. I think this place has potential but needs a lot of work.

Price isn't too bad. Shake was definitely on point. Overall good was okay, nothing outstanding but definitely still quite good.

I am not a big fan of burger cuz it always hurt my stomach. But I eat it from time to time despite the pain. I tried the burger from here, first it was so delicious, like really I can’t tell you how much that taste stays, I kept talking about it to my wife for 2 days. Second, the meat is so soft you don’t have to chew too much. The staff are beautiful. The whole place is just amazing. I would be coming a looooooot.

TL;DR - Excellent cheeseburger. Perfect tater tots. Stop on by for a fill up and you won't be disappointed. I wanted an all American burger to cap off the Independence Day long weekend. So, looked up places and saw the 50's diner theme and gave it a shot. I am so glad that I did. As soon as I entered, Bri (Bree) said I could pick my spot. Even though there was a booth made from the rear end of a classic car, I chose to sit near the far wall under some cool Americana art. I ordered the Americana Burger (and added mustard) and tater tots. When they came out, I was a bit skeptical because the tots were dark. I thought they might be overcooked or cooked in old oil. It is difficult to find properly cooked fries/tots anywhere. However, they were perfectly crispy and had a light flavor. The burger also had excellent flavor, but the patty seems to have broken apart on the grill so a bit or two dropped out while eating. It was so good, I didn't mind finger picking and chomping those bits down immediately. I also ordered a sweet dessert from their frozen custard (if you have never had this, it's like a creamier smoother ice cream) items. I had a concrete with caramel and heath bar (2nd topping extra 50¢). It was a fitting end to the meal. I will be back. Kid-friendliness: Bright atmosphere with a kids mean that hits all the same items as the adult menu. Wheelchair accessibility: Single level with no steps in the restaurant. Located in a step mall so there is plenty of close and handicap parking

This one isn’t so easy to spot from the street, but once you arrive inside your greeted with a delightful interior. It’s seat yourself, but if you’re with kids look to your left and grab the seat that’s a cut out from a classic car. The hamburger was fresh, not frozen so definitely a step above typical fare, but other than that pretty standard. The fries were a bit over salted but at least hot. Service was good - friendly & fast. The atmosphere was cool & as you leave, take a look at some of the old maps on the counter.

The LaVergne Senior Center trip to have lunch at Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries was my very first time and the the food was delicious. I couldn't eat all of my Moose Chicken and Steak Sandwich it was so big. Didn't know it would be so large and so dare delicious and the service was on point. You didn't have to keep asking for anything our server was excellent at her job very friendly. I recommend that if you want excellent delicious food and service then l suggest eating at Hwy 55 Burgers and Shake & Fries.
