I transferred money to it that I needed to withdraw to go car shopping with. The funds transferred, and showed available. I went to this branch because it's close to where I work. The teller I worked with was Michael Jennings. I had two transactions. I deposited several hundred dollars into my business account, which is very active. I then attempted to withdraw the fund from my personal account. I was told by MJ that I couldn't withdraw the fund because they had only just shown up in the account and wouldn't be available until the next day. I was pretty sure that US Bank's website said they were already available and asked him to check again. He told me that they were "available" but that is could "still be reversed", so I would have to wait one more day to withdraw them. I thought this was odd so I left and called US Bank and asked them about their available funds policy. They told me that there were no restrictions or holds on the fund and there was NO REASON why I shouldn't be able to withdraw them. So I turned around in the hopes that this new information might change things. When I got back I was told that because the account was only 3 months old and didn't have any transactions recently it could be fraudulent and he still wouldn't allow me to withdraw the funds. I've had this account for at least 7 years. It didn't matter that my business account had plenty of recent transaction activity on it or that I had just deposited hundreds of dollars in CASH into it. I called US Bank back very frustrated with the situation and not at all understanding how one random bank teller could arbitrarily override the decision making of a billion dollar company's fraud department. I explained to them that I have two bank accounts with them, and 2 credit cards linked to this account for overdraft protection with more than double the cash amount available if it should end up reversed and leave my account over drafted, and that I've been a continuous customer of theirs for 15+ years. They said they would reach out to the local branch to see if they could resolve it. After waiting on hold she came back and informed me that although she agrees with me that I should be able to access the fund, the branch has final decision making power and that MJ wasn't budging. She then spent the next 10-15 minutes trying to justify his decision with things like "the account doesn't have recent transactions" but clearly that will be just the same tomorrow, but tomorrow the branch would allow me to withdraw the funds, or even next week it's possible that the funds could still be reversed. None of it made a bit of sense, and worst of all they told me to "try a different branch" because they might let me. Apparently branch tellers/manager/assistant manager have unilateral decision making power over whether you get access to your money and there is absolutely nothing US Bank can do about it. If the branch assistant manager says, "Sorry, you have to wait 3 weeks, 2 days, and do 7 back flips in the branch lobby to get your withdrawal" you are just stuck like Chuck. The person on the phone thought that was ridiculous, I said, "Sure it is. That was the point." But when I asked her what exactly the limits were on individual branches decisions, she said "well there isn't one, but no one would ever do something like that". She had already told me she didn't agree with his decision, but wasn't able to do anything about so what would change in that scenario? Was it the number of days, or the back flips that would change things. She didn't have an answer, and basically agreed that branches can make completely arbitrary decisions that US Bank corporate doesn't agree with, and there was nothing they could do about it. Michael Jennings gets a A remaining calm and friendly during our interaction and a big fat F for customer service and decision making skills. Now my day is completely screwed because of this frustrating and pointless experience. EDIT: I went to another branch, and after checking my ID, verifying my security questions, I was able to withdraw my money.

I’ve been going here for years and has never and they have always stayed consistently reliable and very easy to work with!! I usually see Micheal or Lynn, and they are always great! Everyone inside are very friendly and help out with anything that I’m needing and make it very easy to do so. 5 stars for sure!!

Worst experience ever! First went inside and told us that the inside was closed. Maybe you guys should put a sign outside saying “inside is closed” and Customer service terrible. The lady that was helping me out made it seem like It wasn’t my account asking all this dumb questions that were not nessesary at all.

Very bad service, for being more than 10 years with this seller, I had a worst experience ever. This guy name M. T is xenophobic person I think he does not deserve to work for this bank. He is very rude and disrespectful person.

Need to work on friendliness and acknowledgment of customers standing and waiting for help. and if you ask for help they say ask another and they were not that busy to find out a appointment time. Don't even say Hi welcome or anything. rude !!

Extremely rude, it’s Saturday oct 23, I had been in line since 11:30. They attended everyone ahead of me, and when it reached me at 12:05 they said “we are closed”. I informed her that I had been in line for 30 minutes beforehand and she proceeded to say “the sign has been turned off and we are closed” in a rude tone. Other banks at least have the common courtesy of sending an employee out, 15 minutes before close, to inform us at least that once it hits their closing time that they will no longer attend anyone regardless of how long they’ve waited. I was the only one in line, nobody behind me. On simple deposit. Then she gets her coworker to talk for her, while she continues to talk with the mic off. It doesn’t take an expert to know when you’re talking about them. You shouldn’t work in customer service if you are going to be rude and bitter.

This is not bank but is a free ATM for the Bluebird Walmart card. I attempted to get funds out on Saturday March 13th for $500. The screen read that my bank declined the transaction. No receipt was given and it told me to take my card. To my surprise when I checked my account it states that I withdrew $500. Contacted my bank and they asked for the receipt that stated they declined the transaction but the ATM never gave me one. So now I'm having to dispute the transaction with my bank which can take up to 90 days. Please save yourself time and frustration and don't make the same mistake that I made by using this ATM.

The ATM at this branch is ALWAYS having service issues. I like being able to deposit cash at the ATM in a hurry especially since they cut back their service hours. Its really inconvenient that they don't open until 9:30 and close at 4. The atm has taken my cash and spit my card back out without making the deposit as well causing a huge inconvenience and I had to wait a few days for the issue to resolve. And since the ATM is always down the line for the drive thru is always backed up.

This branch in my opinion is the most friendly and most helpful of all US banks in Rutherford Co. Todd is the branch manager him and his team are polite, professional and most helpful. I've been with them for over 25 yrs I opened with my ex in Arkansas and when I moved to TN. I'm a military veteran and professional and polite are things I notice right away. Trust me Todd branch manager will welcome you and his team will strive to be as helpful as possible
