The store was of typical layout. Had lots of products and merchandise to look over. The very small staff was busy handling their tasks but when it came time for check out they actually came to the register pretty quickly. It's not far from home but out of my usual direction.

We we're traveling and had gotten of off the interstate and stayed in a hotel for the night . We had went to eat breakfast and in our way back to the interstate we got turned around. We stopped in the dollar general to pick up a few things and ask the cashier how to get back to interestate. She was very nice and helpful between her and another customer helped us get back to the interstate. Thank you so much .

They go through employees like clockwork, store is always out of stock on things I used to buy here regularly like excedrin migraine store brand and nexium store brand yet there are crates everywhere that need stocked, seems like once they are caught up employees quit and it's a mess again. Employees are not properly trained on how to use dg app on phones and can't help customers, I've helped customers out of common courtesy on how to use it. The manager there now though is nice and helpful.

I can't say I disliked it. It just didn't have a lot of things in order. The pricing was difficult to understand. Would be nice if made it clearer for those of us who DON'T like to bother people. They really don't have a staff to answer every question.

It's exactly what you expect, plus the staff keep things clean and organized (which should be a given except for the fact that it's literally a dollar store). However, this one is good and tidy. Only issue is an occasional slow-moving line, but (to be fair) half the time it's because of some granny counting change out (or similar) and no fault of the staff.

I really truly enjoyed her customer service there it was sad when she left our area but we found out she went to the Flint area and that was great to know she was there by our sides ♡♡♡!
