Good Gym. Equipment works and is in good working condition. Clean locker rooms. And so far the staff is pretty cool.

Scammers. Get notified that the kids klub will be closing within days but don’t want to refund personal training or stop agreement. Telling me to drive 45 min in rush hour traffic to the nearest gym only giving me 30 min to work out until I have to get my kids out of the kids club. Refused to offer me a refund on a service I haven’t even used. Go elsewhere they are pathetic.

I joined to do lap swimming in the pool because at the facility I was a member of the pool was getting a little too crowded early in the day. LA Fitness has a very nice pool and I was enjoying lap swimming a couple of times per week. I was also impressed with the mens locker room. One day after swimming I was dressing in front of my locker. I had my backpack on the bench where customers can sit. A black male about 35 walked up very aggressively and told me to: “get my s-it” off of the bench”. Apparently we had chosen lockers that were next to each other. I wasn't in anyones way. I finished getting dressed and left. I’m 64 and I’m not inclined to have anyone talking to me like that. What he didn’t know is I’m retired law enforcement and he could have easily gotten into more than he bargained for. I wound up going back to the facility I was previously a member of for a couple of years. These kind of attitude issues are never a problem there.

UPDATE: I took the Body Works with Abs today and it was a work out! Very nice and clean. They have an awesome staff! And Clyde is a good trainer.

DO NOT JOIN THE PERSONAL TRAINING. Before you join the personal training you should be aware of the antics. RYAN, the manager will not show you the contract when you sign, he will try to Email it to you. He will lie and say you have a week to get out of it but you really on have three days. They will not try to help you. He’s in the business for sales only. It’s a 2k buyout. They will lie and say they’ll contact VP of sales for you but they will not. The cheapest one is $180 a month for one session a week. There’s no app with workouts. That’s another lie they try to sell you. I realized this all too late and now it’s a he/she said situation and of course they’ll choose their managers side and defend his character when he’s a liar. Beware and be careful.

IMPORTANT!!! HEALTH HAZARD!!! Thieves. Don’t get any of their training programs. I purchased the one year term plan and they only trained me for 4 sessions. Then they made up an excuse of “we are very busy” and have not trained me for this whole past month. 90% of the time they spend huddled around in a group by the computer desk “working”. I am mad at myself for believing this gym was going to be different, and I am very disappointed at the all the personal trainers in this facility. Don’t get ripped of people. Don’t let them trick you like a hungry pack of auto dealers at a dealership. They just want to make a sale and not take responsibility for a paying customer. On a different not, the cleaning staff is another story. They are hard working and do an amazing job. This explains my 2 star rating instead of 1.

Cleanliness at this location is going worse and worse. Specially men locker/restrooms. Paper towel not refilled, sopa and bathroom tissue. And stinks every single day. Not good!!! Used to be very clean when I signed up...

Every since the Esporta name came the quality of the gym is going down hill. I was paying for the quality of a LA Fitness not Esporta. Restrooms are filthy and always have blood in the stalls or trash can. New members are in the way and do more socializing than lifting. They allow kids in the gym now starting at the age of 13 with no adult supervision. I wouldn’t recommend anyone sign up at this location. Go to a real LA Fitness location. Save yourself a headache.

I've been a member for many years at this location and others. This one is closer to my home so I frequent mostly on the weekends. Sad that the maintenance is below average considering there are staff just walking around. Overall cleaning and paper towel holders are overlooked on a CONSTANT basis. I'm always asking the staff to supply the ones upstairs near the cardio equipment. Come on dudes. The gym should never run out of paper towels which motivates the user to clean the machine before and especially AFTER they have sweated all over it. Gross. And the trash cans in the women's locker room are not regularly emptied along with floor cleaning. I don't understand why they went through all of those renovations to help it's "appearance" but no one to manage overall cleanliness and gym HEALTH. Who is the Operations manager now? He or she should consider another line of work since when they are not on-site, the staff does not have enough discipline to understand what to do. Hence monitor and see what needs to be done instead of wait around for new clients to walk in the front door. Total waste of staff salary.
