I had a horrible experience. I simply went to exchange 4 items that I had purchased an hour ago🙄. The cashier tried to give me nothing back for my return. Her manager came out going off telling me I must not get it because I’ve never worked in retail amongst other things and basically I needed to calm down. They basically told me I was crazy because I wanted my return money on gift card instead of nothing. Once the manager actually redid my order she realized I simpky needed to exchange two item and return 2 which is what i said for the whole 45mins I spent going back and fourth because either I was not going to allow them to take from me. I won’t be shopping there again! Horrible horrible experience. Instead of acknowledging that I was correct she gave me cash and said you good 🤣😂🤣 after she spent 45 mins yelling at me and telling me I’m wrong. 🗑

Walked in not greeted by not one employee, another Hispanic walks in same no hello nothing. As soon as an African American walks in instantly greeted and offered help right away. Myself along with any of my fellow peers will NEVER come here again just plain rude!

I went in to return shoes that had obviously been worn. I tried them on and walked around trying to get used to them. They are a half size too big, so I just slid my foot right out the shoe put them back in the box and went to get a smaller size. I did mot even attempt to make it look “not” worn. The store manager (I can’t remember her name right now, but it started with a “C”) was not rude at all. She did NOT exchange my shoes, but she made me feel so good as she was deny me. She pointed out every reason why she couldn’t and I honestly understood. So I bought 2 outfits and will take her advice and move on with my new forces with pastel colors on the sole. PLEASE SUPPORT HER STORE AND THIS LOCATION!

I'm going to have to agree with all of the reviews here about the manager of this location. She's a ball of negativity and is very rude. I ordered a pair of shoes online. The online return guidelines are as followed "If I buy an item online can I return it to one of the DTLR retail stores?" Yes you can take your online order to a store to return it. I brought the original package in, shipping label and all, and the employee called over Charrelle (how ever you spell it). She told me I cannot make a return here. I can only make an exchange, and proceeds to tell me 'the return policies are right here - you can go back through the online return process, but you can't return here" I replied "Terms online said I can return to any store if I bought online" Her reply? "Here are the return policies, you can't return here" So I left. Crazy thing is, I'm a regular here. I can see this store from where I am sitting right now.

The customer service here has been absolutely great lately, the store is clean and the employees were all in a great mood the last time I went to the store. The manager Relle has been very attentive and helpful the past few times I have gone in the store as well. 5+ stars to this team

The worst customer service. Trying to get their attention for help while on his phone after saying excuse me twice. He comes over with an attitude and act if we were bothering him. So we put back the things we were going to purchase and walked out the store

Everytime I go into the Grand Prairie location everyone is pleasant and helpful especially the manager cherrel she is very attentive to the customer needs....my husband and myself frequent the store alot and because of cherrel I will tell my friends about this location...DTLR a very good pick of a employee when you picked her....

Everything was great here other than the customer service. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a low tone “hello”- no smiles. Asked for some shoes and she was walking slow and like not in a mood to be there. Music is soo good in this store, they should be live and happy to work here.

Cherrelle i believe the manager was very rude.i have been here multiple times and I’ve seen that she has her employees always doing work for her. She never helps out at the store. Everytime i ask to speak to her she’s either gone or sitting in the back.

The manager cherrelle was very rude to customers and staff. She always has the employees working ( I know that’s there job) but she hovers over them telling them to do this and that but never helps them out.
