I took my son to this place to opened an account for him for the first time . The banker , Raul Rios was a big helper , he did a fantastic job! Well , I saw how easy and well explained. I wanted to open one for myself also . We’re the new customers to this bank . I told my son how’s everything is so convenient and easy to use . I might come back and open another ones for my daughter (: Thank You for your helped Raul 🤗

02/19/2021 4:25pm Veronica worst customer representative ever!! There’s a correct way to address a customer then theres Veronicas way with rolling your eyes and having an attitude!! If I spoke to a customer the way she did and then rolled my eyes at my job that way I would have been written up smh I feel sorry for people like this if you don't want to be at work don't go.

I went here yesterday 2-26-19 with my tax client to get her refund check cash. The bank that I use (Santa Barbara Tax Products Group )with Wells Fargo up to 9500 and Walmart for check cashing up to 7500. Upon entering the establishment there was about 2 people in line ahead of me. Suddenly the manager walks out from the back and asked me if he can help me with anything . Instantly I became puzzled due to him coming to us (African Americans) and there were two other people and line ahead of us. I was thinking in my head why didn’t he ask if people ahead of me if they needed help. I told him I was here just in case there were any issues with her cashing her check. He asked did she have an account and she said no then he asked to look at the check started shaking his head no that he would not be able to cash it, and the reasons why. After he finished talking I informed him that the bank that I use has a flat rate with Wells Fargo and Walmart to have clients cashier tax return and he continued to say that he had two or three people that tried to cash and They were not able to cash it . He said they were from World Financial Group and I said well this isn’t a WFG check. I continued to tell him that I do have a relationship with Wells Fargo and that I would call my bank or he can call and let him speak to them . After a 5 to 10 minute wait he did call my client to be counter to start the check cashing process. I had to thank him for taking the extra step to verify that Wells Fargo and SBTPG do have a relationship. If I would’ve dont that I don’t think he would’ve been empathetic about trying to turn us away. I always felt like I was back in the segregation days the way the manager came from the back to help the only African American customers in the building. There was a short line throughout my entire time at the bank and not him or any other personal cane out to ask any other customers in the line if they needed help!! I will go close my accounts with Wells Fargo and I will find another bank next year for my client to get there refund checks cashed!! This is pathetic!! The only reason I’m giving a 2 star is dues to the older white lady(Personal Banker) that came out and asked me if I need help. She probably thought I was seated waiting to do banking services. She was very polite.

My mother banks here. She has been very sick and I went by to make a cash deposit for her. I explained that I didn't need a receipt, she only wanted me to make this deposit for her, that they could mail her the receipt. The teller told me that they cannot accept cash deposits if I am not on her account. They could MAYBE accept a money order. The manager came out and expressed that most major banks are not accepting cash deposits anymore if the owner of the account is not present. I bank with credit unions, and have never had this problem. But, I will see how my parents (who are both sick and elderly) can get their account moved from this bank as soon as they are able to come up here or as soon as we seek out power of attorney. What utter nonsense from a bank that's caused such trouble to many people in the past.

Good customer service but not enough staff to satisfy the customers need. And for tailor assistance they don’t have one person assigned. Always people need to move around and that makes the banking procedure too slow 🐌

They refused to cash a check written under their bank. I was talked to like I was trash, I was looked at like a criminal. Terrible customer service, I provided 3 forms of ID (even though I have a wf acct!) They took my fingerprints and still wouldn't cash the check! Only at this location do I ever have problems.
