😞 I made a reservation 2 weeks ago and when I arrive today, the truck isn't available. The Budget representative informs me that the nearest available truck is at their Cypress, Texas location. So I went to the Uhaul franchise right up the road and picked up a similar truck for just about the same price. Thank you Uhaul. 😊

Rude and a bad attitude. I had reserved a truck to be picked up at this location. I was rudely told they didn't have the truck I'd requested. She then told me she called to tell me they didn't have it but didn't leave a message. When I asked why no messages were left she told me "Because I didn't. " The saddest part is I'm sure she still has her job even though she's incredibly rude and has a terrible attitude for customer service.

Arrived at 730 per my reservation time then she tells me she looking for me a truck which I reserved 2 months ago telling me check engine light is on..... whats the point of reservation... and i bet if I'm late dropping off they will charge me.... but if they not on time all we get is sorry. Budget should do a total make over for who they let rent their trucks out

It's very cheap. Went from South Carolina to Texas. Comfortable enough. Decent on gas. Took $80 to fill it up from E. I originally rented a 12' but they gave away the last one causing me to get a 15'. Would have saved money on gas with the smaller one. Wish there website was more accurate so I would have known about what trucks were available. Not easy driving a big truck like that cross country. But overall no real complaints, friendly enough just avoid booking during weekends. Ensure they inspect the truck for previous damages. Look at the sheet they do the inspection on. The people in sumter, SC were Friendly with great customer service. Easy pick up. Truck was decent and cheap. I recommend them easily if your looking for cheap and efficient. Not luxury though. Gotta tough out a little bit if your driving. Great for animals. Had two cats. Plenty of space for small animals or one big one. I drove alone so it was easy for me. You get 15 miles the moment that gas light kicks on. I averaged out 440-450 miles on a full tank.

Horrible customer service ! Alfreida was completely rude from the moment I stepped up to the counter. The drop box does not say to leave the keys in the box if they are closed , the message says "you are still responsible for the truck" but no where on the box does it say leave the keys in the box. So she was mad I brought the keys at 12 in the afternoon, instead of right when they opened like my life revolved around bringing the keys to them. She stated they called me for the keys but no voicemail was left so how was I supposed to know it was them looking for the keys. Then still with a attitude she tells me that the truck isn't full , the truck was literally right about the full line , she told me I would be charged a extra $30 for something that would probably take a couple dollars to take to get to the full line & then when I stated I didn't want to take the truck just to do that she goes "well you can leave then" , honestly I don't what was going in with her life today but I don't appreciate her bringing it to work with her & being rude to me. She needs to learn how to control her feelings while at work & treat her customers better. I wasn't rude to her at all but got every piece of her attitude & I didn't appreciate it at all.
