I LOVE this place! I LOVE everything about it. From the time I arrive to the time I leave I am thinking "I must be in Mexican Food Heaven". I love that there are angels there diguised as friendly, lovely and hard working waitresses/cashiers, I love the crew of etheral Mamas blissfully bustling in the kitchen (and yesterday I spotted a Papa). I love the way they move between and around each other with a sense of the ease and grace that you only see within a truly happy, close family. I love that the manna served is truly authentic. I love the breakfast tacos (I am a picadillo girl), the hot homemade tortillas, the should win-an-award cheese enchildas all melty with real cheese. I love the refried beans so smooth and shiny with manteca. I love the crispy beef tacos, tamales and all the other traditional favorites. Oh yes they serve ambrosia too. In Mexican Food Heaven they call it Aquas Frescas. My particular favorite is cantalope.

I love the hours and days this place is open! It has new ownership as of a few months ago, so give it another try if you haven't been there in a while! I've had quite a few breakfast tacos but also huevos rancheros, barbacoa, flauta, and chips/salsa and everything has been amazing so far! Yes, they are open for lunch!

I had the best breakfast burrito ever. It was as big as my forearm! Would highly recommend for a filling cheap delicious breakfast!

It is definitely a hole in the wall Mexican food place. Not meant to be a fancy place but the food is the best Mexican food in Port O'Connor. Great breakfast tacos. You can call in your order for faster service
