I had such great service here. I had a lot of things wrong with my engine which was making it hard for me to accelerate. However, Chris was able to take care of my services and gave me a lot of savings. So, if you’re looking for services that genuinely cares about your car needs, is not expensive, and works in a timely manner this is the place to go. Thanks for working with me Chris!!!

We just moved to Portland, and I like to use small local businesses when I can, and after reading the reviews I thought we'd try Chris Auto for an oil change. But Chris' honesty, told my husband that we didn't need to yet, since GM had a different standard for new truck. We'll definitely be back when the time is right.

I had a few warning lights come on and I idiotically had another mechanic take a look. He replaced an ignition switch saying my problem would be fixed... it didn't fix the problem and he charged me anyway saying it was the ABS pump and module that needed to be replaced and that it would cost me another $800. Well, I took it to Chris and within 3 minutes he had fixed the problem.

Chris's Auto Service is the cheapest most reliable work. He checks your vehicle to even see you need the repair before doing it, to ultimately save you money. This man is trustworthy and a man to his word. He took in my chevy equinox knowing i had a budget and he made it work. I think the best part of this whole experience is that we met a human someone, who cares instead of what u get at other mechanic shops. Will tell others and will be back again in the future.

Van kept overheating and we noticed the fan wasn’t coming on. Thinking it was the fan being bad Chris looked at the van and within a couple of minutes new it was either battery or alternator. After some tests it came out to be a bad alternator. We live about 6 hours away and Chris was quick to fix and see if there was anything else so we would have a safe trip home! Even got paperwork on the warranty of the alternator!! Highly recommend his shop and if we lived closer he would definitely be our go to mechanic. Wish I could give him more stars!!! He even showed me the used parts he took off and the new ones installed.It’s hard to find a trustworthy mechanic but I would recommend Chris to anyone in the Portland/ corpus area.
