Ordered a package there and it apparently got lost in pre shipment at the Poteet, TX USPS like the other package I ordered from Conroe Texas. The package from Conroe took like 20 day's for them to decide to accept it. I should know. I contacted the eBay seller and that package was dropped off Nov. 12 and it didn't arrive until Dec. 3rd or 4th. The package I ordered from the Poteet, TX has been in pre shipment for more than a month and it's supposedly priority mail. Apparently the USPS decided it's when they get around to it mail. It's ridiculous for mail to take more than a month to get from Texas to Louisiana.

Service is subpar. Package supposed to have been delivered two days ago and was not. Notice was not left that an attempt was made! If cannot leave package at least leave notice so do not have to contact shipper to figure out what is going on.

The post office its self is great! Always friendly and gets my packages out very quickly and I have packages that go out almost daily. The house delivery is another story. We never had any issues until about a year or so ago. The person doing our route now, I think is either drunk or on drugs. We recently had them on camera peeling out and doing 360's at our mail box. No wonder the mail vehicle looks all wrecked!

USPS is worthless in this area 3 separate times a package isn’t delivered because they can’t find the address.. the should ask ups or fedex because they don’t have any issues

Had package that would of fit my mail box's today and they did not deliver it or leave me a card saying why they didn't leave it. I have a big mail box's I was very upset. And I went to the company I got it from and it said they wouldn't deliver it until Saturday they don't open early enough to call them to have the carrier to bring it out I'm not happy with this post office

Tried to get a package delivered but since they couldn't cram it in the mailbox they took it back. It seems the more they get raises the worse their service is as a whole. Now we got to find a way to get it and I am out of town. From now on I will pay extra so I don't have to deal with the slow USPS.

I'm always having some kind of issue with them dropping off my mail @ my house; today for insists one of my letters was open & it was a coupon book for cigarettes & u can clearly tell some are missing, Im very angry not cuz I'm missing coupons but becuz they OPENED MY MAIL!!!!!!! And when u call to complain they don't answer the phone!

I went to this location for a job interview and to drop off a return package from an item I purchased on eBay. I was interviewed by Postmaster Carol Aune from Poteet and Postmaster Luis Menchaca from the Lytle office. They were both outstanding people. I have never interviewed with such professional individuals while keeping it light and having a fantastic sense of humor. Miss Carol Aune was extremely courteous and kind, as well was Mr. Menchaca. If she treats her customers even half as well as she treated me in the interview then the people of Poteet are in great hands. Wether I get the job or not, it was a great experience and a complete pleasure to have met them both and an honor to even be considered for the role.

Ms.Brown was just absolutely wonderful, I'm new to the area and she was very helpful, pleasant, she explained the options so my letter would get to its destination asap.thank you for informing me of cash back option, and even recommending a couple of places to eat.
