My experience was okay up until I got to the counter and put my snacks on the counter. It was the younger appearing cashier with the brown hair in a ponytail. I had cash and a debit card in hand & the cashier took it upon herself to say “are you using EBT to pay for this? Some people try to trick me or distract me into ringing up their cigarettes or detergent with their other items and use EBT to pay for it.” I don’t smoke, and everything on the counter were either drinks or snacks for the road. Ironically, I was the only person asked this question and felt disrespected for her reasoning in asking when everyone else in line checked out hassle free. Let’s normalize hiring cashiers who do their job instead of investigating about payment methods when the customer has shown you which option they’ll be using.

I visited the Subway inside. The ladies in there are quick and so sweet. Paige and the girls are an amazing team.
