Such a great shopping experience at Havertys! Harvey is a very knowledgeable and patient salesman. He spent so much time working with me as I looked through fabric swatches all over the store to customize my furniture. He used their software to help me envision the furniture in my home, making sure the pieces would fit the space. Astrid was fun to work with and very helpful with suggestions for fabrics and colors that would complement my flooring. Really a huge step above the rest. I will definitely come to Havertys first for all my furniture needs in the future. Thank you!

When my husband and I bought at the beginning of the year, Evelyn was great and extremely patient and knowledgeable! She hands down is the best to work with and we would absolutely work with her again!! Honestly, she is what made this experience a good one. We furnished 3 rooms through her and for the most part, we are happy. Even the delivery drivers were great! However, our chairs, stools and dining table seem to be put together cheaply for as expensive as they were. Our dining table rocks so the screws are not the bets for as heavy as the table itself is along with the screws in some of the bar stools. We are also upset because we have used the cleaner that came with the sets and our dining room table that we splurged on has been starting to show signs of damage which none of us have caused since we take care of it because we prefer not to spend that much money again. 6 months or less in and noticing how expensive the furniture was but also how poorly put together they really were.

My husband and I bought a house in the fall of last year and have been kind of lost about how to furnish and decorate the living room. We have shopped a few furniture stores in Tyler, but never received the amazing service that we got at Havertys. I want to specifically shout out sales consultant, Evelyn Staton and interior designer, Astrid Sandoval. Evelyn showed us around the store (which has a gorgeous selection) and helped us figure out what we like. They offer free design consulting, so this week Astrid and Evelyn came to our house for measurements and to see it in person. Today, Astrid presented to us a 3D rendering of our entry way space and living room with the furnishings and accessories she chose. And let me just tell you she did an absolutely beautiful job!! We bought almost everything she selected because it was just so perfect! Most of what we ordered will be in next week and then a short wait for a few more items, so no crazy delays. If you are in need of furniture or even just accessories for your home, you’ll definitely want to check out Havertys!

Crystal was a friendly associate. Her big smile was the first thing you'd notice walking in the room. She engaged us right away. She took the time to find out what we were looking for, but when as I continued to point out that only one piece of furniture had fit our needs, she focused on everything except what I was telling her we wanted. I felt like saying "sell me what I want!" She did remain professional even as I threw her some curveballs. She did seem to arrange the custom piece we wanted in such a way to bring the price as low as possible, which was a little disappointing, because although we did not dress nice to come in, we were not concerned with price over quality and getting exactly what we wanted. Lastly, I told Crystal we were on the fence and asked her if there was anything she had to say that would get us off the fence, giving her the opportunity to sell me. She said "that's not me, I don't want to be that kind of salesperson." I gave her another chance to say something better and she was more personable and at least attempted to act like she wanted me to buy and she made me laugh. Other than needing some work around the edges, Crystal was helpful. The back end guy was far less impressive and kept talking everytime he gave me something to sign. I finally said "hey, let me read this." He did, but then went right back to it and I said more sternly, "hey, listen, let me read this, ok." All in all a satisfactory visit, and even though we came in ready to go two other places before buying, we went ahead based on the quality and Crystal's efforts. Thank you for the shopping experience.

We saw several items we liked and are considering but bought two. We especially enjoyed Mary, our saleswoman. She really knows how to work with a customer and not come on strong, as in, constantly following them or talking with them. She let us look and come to her. She would come by and check on us as a courtesy, but just the right amount of interaction. Would go to her in the future for any additional purchases. She was so comfortable to work with.
