I have never been to Dr. Sebring and i won't ever go to him since he spreads false information on the treatment of COVID. Just another quack preying on vulnerable people.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sebring since 2006. I trust him with my health because of his holistic approach, nutritional guidance and time spent with me. He has been very responsive to my need to lower cost of medicine during retirement. Most of all he saved me from a painful biopsy that my Urologist wanted to do by prescribing an antibiotic after a spike in my PSA test. It went down after the antibiotic treatment and has remained low in the ensuing three years.

This is the best doctor and yes he comes with a price, he is worth it. I'm disappointed anyone would think anything less of him and his staff. It doesn't matter who I speak to on the phone, the office manager, the folks up front or the young lady in the store. Anytime I call they are patient with me even when I don't recall my instructions I was given. They check my chart and remind me of what I was instructed to do. Dr. Sebring is very knowledgeable and will take the time explaining it to me in my laymens terms. He saved my life, I have learned so much from him. He comes with a price and he is worth it. Wish more doctors would practice like him. There are a lot of health practices I can go get a 15 minute visit at with my insurance and none will compare to the care I get from Dr. Sebring.

Sadly, I changed my review from 5 stars to 1! I was called in by the office for a follow up appointment that i did not need, but seeing as they will only see you with 6 months current lab work i figured i should go in so i would not need to pay again for labs in the future. APPARENTLY IF YOUR APPOINTMENT EXCEEDS 30 MINUTES YOU WILL BE CHARGED $300 INSTEAD OF $180....and they do not take insurance. Dr. Sebring is very knowledgeable and that is why we go to him. However, he is very long winded and once he gets to talking you might be in there for hours....I emailed Dr. Sebring to ask why i was charged so much for an appointment...he just forwarded it to the "office manager." It took her a week to call me back, and she was very rude. Dr. Sebring, I would suggest getting a new office manager....I would not have her working customer service! She proceeds to start a full blown argument with me. My point was that ONCE YOU ARE 30 MINUTES INTO YOUR APPOINTMENT SOMEONE (and there were 2 other workers in the room with us who apparently start a stop watch when he walks in) SHOULD ALERT YOU AND SAY IT HAS BEEN 30 MINUTES, DID YOU WANT TO CONTINUE WITH THE APPOINTMENT? SHE NEVER WOULD ADMIT THAT WOULD BE THE RIGHT THING TO DO IF YOU CARED FOR YOUR PATIENTS...although she told me when i questioned the price at checkout that most patients are very clear not to exceed 30 min. How was i to know about this? There is a 25 page new patient entry form....oh and i filled that out a year ago...excuse me for not remembering they would rip me off. DO THEY WANT PEOPLE TO STARE AT THEIR WATCH THE WHOLE TIME? I USED TO COME HERE FOR THE KNOWLEDGE, BUT NOW I FEEL LIKE I AM BEING RIPPED OFF. Once i told the "office manager" i did not even need to come in for a follow up knowing it would cost me $300...the "office manager" starts going through my chart asking me why i was on certain medications. Why doesn't dr-patient confidentiality exist in this office??? How dare you!

Initially I started seeing Dr. Sebring to address my pre-hypertensive condition. However, I had a number of additional chronic health problems. At 55 years of age, and the rate that I seemed to be aging, I estimated that I probably would not be living past the age of 65. As a result of Dr. Sebring's treatment, those chronic issues are going away, and I am getting hope that I will be able to get off the blood pressure meds. With the diagnostic tests Dr. Sebring chose to run, I know what the root causes are for my problems, so that helps me move forward with a healthier style of life. I am so thankful I was able to find someone like Dr. Sebring. If more of the medical industry would take this path, our healthcare system would not be in the trouble it is in, and there wouldn't be the chronic epidemic of health problems we are seeing.

My wife was very ill in 2011, just in her mid 30's she had several specialists she saw often and it seemed they just kept her comfortable, she could never just get well, she took more medication than someone much older than her. I was willing to pay whatever it took to get her better. She was just about to start a form of chemotherapy when we found Dr. Sebring. She wanted to have his opinion of her health in hopes to find an alternative treatment. Dr. Sebring brought my wife back to life, she can get out of bed, be active with our children, and enjoy life to the fullest. She is no longer on any medication except the natural supplements he has her on plus one compound. She changed her diet as instructed and in only 6 months he turned all her labs around putting all her problems at bay. This is a real doctor, this is how all practices should run, he fixes problems, he does not place band-aids on them. Thank you for all you do Dr. Sebring.

He saved my life and I never met the man. I watched The Perfect Human Diet nearly five years ago and have been devout paleo ever since. The results have been miraculous. At first I was skeptical when he said grains were the biggest problem in the American diet since it was contrary to anything I had ever heard before in my life. I decided to give it a try and cut out dairy and processed foods as well. I drink only water. My quality of life improved fairly quickly and it seems each passing year I've become healthier and stronger. You have to be dedicated to it though. There are no "days off", or junk food allowances. It just depends on how much better you want to feel I guess. For myself, it's worth it. Who wants to feel like you're getting old and achy and be on all kinds of medications to control blood pressure, cholesterol, triglycerides, etc? Not me, thank you.

I've been going to the Sebring Clinic run by Dr. Lane Sebring for several years now and I've enjoyed my experience since day one. Ive dealt with chronic fatigue for years and Dr Lane Sebring created the perfect customized nutrition and supplement plan to help me deal with my issue. Id highly recommend Dr. Sebring if you want natural remedies that rely on nature, not drugs.

Sebring has been disciplined four times by the Texas Medical Board and is facing new charges: In 2002, he entered into in informal settlement agreement in which he agreed to pay an administrative penalty of $5,000 to settle a charge that he had failed to provide adequate informed consent or maintain an adequate record of his care for a patient whom he had diagnosed with "Wilson's Syndrome." [6] Wilson's syndrome—also called Wilson's temperature syndrome—is not recognized as valid by the scientific community. Its originator, E. Denis Wilson, M.D., lost his Florida medical license in the early 1990s for treating patients with unnecessary and inappropriate dosages of thyroid hormone [7]. In 2005, Sebring signed a consent order in which he agreed to pay an administrative penalty of $500 for advertising that he was board-certified in "anti-aging medicine." This violated a board rule because the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine, which is not recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties, does not meet Texas standards for certifying boards [8]. In 2010, the board issued an order imposing an administrative penalty of $1,000 for "false and/or misleading advertising." The order stated that in 2009, in the Austin Monthly magazine, Sebring had advertised unsupported and unproven treatment modalities that included "bio-identical hormone therapy, non-surgical urinary leakage repair, reverse aging skin, and proven natural solutions for heart disease, thyroid, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome, which cannot be readily verified and/or proven scientifically." The board also objected to a claim that he was "certified by the Texas Medical Board in Family Medicine," because the board provides no such certification [9]. In 2014, the board issued an order imposing an administrative penalty of $3,000 and requiring Sebring to complete certain continuing education course and to pass the board's medical jurisprudence examination. The order stated that he had made false statements in a local publication that the board considered advertising that (a) the cause of breast cancer is the bra, (b) the majority of patients die of chemotherapy not cancer, (c) chronic disease(s) in humans began with the introduction of grains in the diet, and (d) vitamin C is considerably more effective than most chemotherapy drugs at ridding the body of cancer [10]. In 2016, Sebring was charged with violating the standard of care in his management of a patient who had sought help for depression and other problems. The board's complaint charges that Sebring had failed to perform a full history and physical exam, failed to establish evidence-based diagnoses, failed to obtain proper informed consent, and prescribed non-therapeutically [11].

Excellent Doctor and very professional! Stopped in during a weeklong event for work as I was feeling very sluggish. Dr. Lane created an entire meal plan and fitness routine that I implemented that day. The next morning I had more energy then I knew what to do with. I have stayed in contact and now follow his blog for additional tips on paleo and fitness! Thanks Dr. Lane!
