Dr Amy Hernandez has been my Dr. for a very long time now. I would say at least 4-5 yrs. She has always been on her "A" game and given options for methods of care. She is very understanding and makes sure that you are treated like a human being and not just a number as so many other places do. I truly appreciate her and her staff for being outstanding.

Try to charge for well checks for me and my husband and one dr stopped taking my insurance and the only way I found out was 5 months later getting bills after my family saw them multiple times.

Very bad health care in Wimberley. Kelly at the front desk is unprofessional and canceled my appointment with Dr. Hernandez at the last minute that I had been waiting on for weeks, and I have a health condition. They should not be in business as medical practitioners.

Feedback is a gift! I have been Dr. Price’s patient for many years! His care is superior but the office staff and policies/procedures are lacking within the organization! When an office staff tells you they are going to send an order for a CT scan or lab work, you trust that it will be taken care of. Time is valuable...especially when you take off work, only to arrive at a facility to find there is no order and your time is wasted! We have many choices for healthcare....

I am 5 * satisfied with Dr. Amy. She’s very good at listening to everything i have to say answers every question i have. And very caring. Ive been a patient for 2 years and going. And her office staff are also awesome!

I have never waited more than 10 minutes. Dr Hernandez is the best doctor I have ever had. She explains everything and sees to it that I understand what she is saying. A great caring place. The staff is very professional and yet still friendly. Richard Lucier

I had a new patient appointment at 2:30. Arrived at 2:30 only to be told my appointment had been cancelled because I didn’t show up early. Apparently I’m not the only one as I see many reviews stating identical experiences. If you wish for a patient to arrive early it may help to say so. Not honoring a set appointment even after sending a message to me hours before saying “see you at 2:30” is very unprofessional and it inconvenienced my entire day. I am a mother of 4 and work so getting in to the Doctor is almost impossible for me. I’ve heard really great things about Dr. Hernandez however I will not return after being treated this way.

Without boring y’all with details, just let me say this organizations new patient enrollment procedures are pathetic. No, on second thought, I am compiled to tell this ridiculous story. My wife is a 35 year MS patient with a Secondary Progressive diagnosis. She is a terrible time controlling bladder activity and is not ambulatory in addition to severe memory loss. I wanted her to have a local doctor here in Wimberley so I made an appointment with Dr. Amy Hernandez with Live Oak Parteners. I’m a patient of Dr.Hernandez, so last year when I was there for my appointment I completed all new patient paperwork for her including current prescriptions. I made an appointment a couple of months later for her and followed up the day of the appointment to make sure I met all their requirements so my wife would not have to wait needlessly in the lobby. I was told just be there a 4 PM....all was well, no? NOT. We were there on time, but was told should have been there earlier for new patient enrollment. Sent us home. No one in the lobby waiting, parking lot almost vacant... wonder why? Fast forward to this year. Wife had a bad fall two months ago resulting in an extensive brain bleed doing more damage to her already scarred brain, brain stem and brain atrophy. In order to maintain Home Health Services from Medicare last week I was foolish enough to give them another try. Got the appointment scheduled and confirmed And was told all I needed to bring with us was my wife’s prescription bottles... they won’t take your word that your not an idiot and can read....received a call today from the doctors office to be there EARLY.... now the paperwork is to old to use and I would have to complete in the office. I explained that all information was still correct and that my wife was very challenged in going into the office as her condition was substantially worse. Nope had to be there early. Absolutely unheard of behavior from this group of so called professionals. I told them to stick it... called her old doctor in Dripping Springs and got an appointment tomorrow after two years and nothing to sign and no prescription bottles to bring along....so for all you that are going there as a new patient, God help you. .

My husband and I have both been in the hospitality industry for almost 30 years, so I think that we know customer service pretty well. These doctors and their staff have ZERO soft skills and absolutely don't care about their patients at all. I will detail my experience later when I'm not so pissed off.

Dr. Amy Hernandez is now my PCP and I couldn't be happier. She takes her time and lets me ask as many questions as I need to. In looking at the other reviews it appears that some people have had bad customer service, but I've experienced the opposite. Her medical assistant is great too!
