It's no wonder that this institution is almost 100 years old and still no one knows of it. This place is just awful!! The management in SLC, ATROCIOUS!! I hope they get sued and shut down for all the illegal conduct they continue to get away with on the daily!

I went in with 2 checks to open a checking and savings account. I was refused because of my credit score. Their site says nothing about checking your credit to get an account. I think it because of how I looked that day. I work for a living

Horrible credit union. Was approved for a certain amount but less than the vehicle we choose. Found out our gross income was calculated as net. We were approved with a recent bankruptcy, but kept their loan in good standing. I called back asking if they would adjust our gross income to the correct amount as I was told I needed a cosigner because of the bankruptcy. I was told I would get approved for the vehicle I chose if I did. Well when Paige called me back sge said she talked to her manager and they're now going to deny my application because of the bankruptcy. She was so rude both times. I believe they calculated or DTI wrong on purpose. Horrible bank and Horrible people.

Do not go here to get a loan!!! They sent me to 3 different people. Rachel, January, and their manager Scott. I was applying for an older vehicle. I have a great credit score a down payment of 10% and it seemed like everything was going through. Over the course of a week and a half of exchanging messages they said I was approved for 12,000 dollars to purchase this older vehicle. I was excited and sent over paystubs, the registration, etc. Another 6 days past and I emailed them that I would like to pay the down payment and receive the money for the loan. And at last minute their manager Scott said he would not approve me because they looked at the title wrong and it was a rebuilt title. They had 6 days to message me or contact me about this and they didn't. And when I asked for other options he said stop trying, and hung up the phone. Totally displeased with these guys. And sadly I have been with them for about 5 years, and have gotten loans such as my motorcycle loan through them. They lost a customer, that is for sure.

my main complaint is that Venmo “instant” transfers take 5 days to go through. That is the main way that I have people help pay bills and it is the most inconvenient thing. Finally made the switch and my new credit union is great with helping overdrafts and everything. So grateful I don’t have to wait a week to get money anymore (oh and I still had to pay the fee)

TransWest is an awesome credit union! I've been a member for over 40 years and have always been treated with the highest quality of service. They are focused on members, and provide great service with a broad range of consumer financial products. Their website and mobile app are awesome! They are very user friendly and make it easy for me to manage my money. Great Company!

I live near the office and the employees parking lot interferes with me being able to come and go from my home without worrying I'm going to hit one of their vehicles.
