This place seems from an ancient time like the rabbit hole with helluva collection! I personally feel dazed when confronted with too many options. Also I have a tendency to go for books from the authors I know about. Given how shallow that list might be, this giant place could offer little value to me personally!

I love this shop so much-it is THE perfect book store for everyone! All the workers-including sandy are just dolls and are so amazing!

I could spend hours browsing through the many shelves. This store has three floors of books. I found some great titles and they were priced fairly. If you are a book enthusiast, make sure to stop into Daedalus.

This place feels magical and the staff is super friendly I've been there a total of 3 times and they already recognize me

This is a really unique used book store! The layout is really interesting and fun to explore. They have three different levels to check out. I found a 4 volume set of Berkouwer theology, a 1977 first edition of Lancelot by Walker Percy, and a collection of Flannery O’Conner. The gentlemen who worked there was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed this place much more than the other used bookstores nearby. Definitely recommend!

This place is straight out of Potter's Diagon Alley. Books from floor to ceiling in every room, which is many. Also, it's a three story establishment. The staff seem to know where everything is somehow. Worth a visit if your in C'ville.

Beyond wowed. Infinite personality and seemingly endless stacks of books. Lovely selection, and an excellent cashier.

Truly a tucked away treasure. A cramped, labyrinthine building whose architect may have been under the influence of narcotics. Twisting and turning, sudden dead ends and dusty corners make exploring this baffling building an absolute delight. With famous signatures and handwritten notes adorning the walls, the kind of ancient and esoteric charm this place oozes is indescribable. I am in love and will happily make the hour long trek over and over again just to visit.

A literal maze of homemade bookshelves on multiple floors. You are likely to find something to buy.

Had a specific day-of need for a 1978 Michener book and Daedalus came through for me! Nobody else in town had the book in stock but Daedalus had a used copy for under 5 bucks. Cool store with lots of great used books. Would highly recommend stopping in and giving their stacks a look!
