You go into a home improvement store anywhere else in the world and the employees avoid you, don't know the store layout or contractor work, and don't have a good understanding of English. Christiansburg Home Depot is clean, organized, efficiently run, and has everything you could need for the home, lawn, garden, and more. Last week I went in to get supplies to repair a hole in my drywall (ex was making me miserable, and I took it out on the wall). A stocky, mustached, Italian man spent 10 minutes giving me the equipment and explaining every way one could do the job. I wish I could post a photo- the wall looks as good as new. Oh, they also have some wonderful veterans working at the store, and give MORE THAN $600,000 locally every year, as well as countless hours of community service. I'm going to miss Blacksburg.
