I went to Chuck's to purchase a selfie-stick for a weekend trip. He helped me out. The stick required charging, so we couldn't see if it actually worked with my cell phone. He let me take it, so I could charge it and told me to pay him when I returned. Who does that in this day and age?! Awesome, friendly, funny, and courteous. A trip to his store for your camera needs will not be disappointing! Thanks so much Mr. Chuck!

I needed for accessories for my camera kit and I found Chuck's via Google. This is the best camera shop in the area and Chuck is very knowledgeable and helpful. Nice selection of used and new equipment. You will find some good deals here.

Couldn't let another day go by without leaving this guy a 5 star review. I came in not really sure of what I needed. He took the time out to answer my questions and to demystify some of the concepts I'd been reading about online - all while dealing with other customers as they came in. In the end - what I needed - he didn't have in inventory that day. But I left knowing exactly what to look for to produce my desired end result and now I know where I will go to pick up the lenses I will need once I find my camera body. As a fellow business owner, I've come to learn that it's in these moments that we earn someone's business down the line. Great talking with you Chuck!

Chuck's super helpful & has so many cool cameras. Walking into his store I was pleasantly shocked by how much he had for inventory. I'd recommend any photography-buff, especially those interested in film photography, to check him out!

For the being the only camera shop left in Hampton Roads, you will not be disappointed. The store is filled with every type of camera you can think of plus more. Chuck is a very knowledgeable and kind person. He’s willing to share some of his insights and provide advice if you need. I find myself coming here at least once a week and I never leave empty handed. I highly recommend you support a local and check out this shop.

I visited the shop yesterday because I found an old VHS tape that I needed converted to DVD. I arrived at the shop at 3:30pm and they close at 4:00pm. I thought it was just a matter of copying from one format to the other. I was wrong. It is real time, so it took over an hour to copy. Chuck was patient and stayed open while the tape copied. I observed him tending to other customers and providing excellent customer service. He taught a young man how to use the old school video camera he was purchasing and reduced the purchase price when the young man didn’t have enough funds in his account to pay for his purchases. Additionally, Chuck’s wife Ginny was in the shop as well. Ginny is turning 103 soon and I have never witnessed a greater display of love between two people. A couple of times they even got up and danced with each other. I WILL go back to the shop every time I am close by. I felt blessed to be around Chuck and Ginny.

Made a special trip down here to check out a nice Canon mirrorless camera and lenses. Well, their hours are wrong online. Google says 5, Facebook says 6. The sign on their door says 4. Won’t waste my time again. Very disappointed, keep your digital presence up to date!

I passed by Chucks Camera Shop so many times before I finally realized what a hidden jewel this place is! Amazing customer service, wide variety of lighting, night vision cameras, film cameras, batteries, memory cards, cell phones, Secret cameras for goodness sake! Spy cameras, Sony video production cameras, backdrops, man I'm running outta breath typing this lol!! Go to Chucks Now!!!!
