Best crab Rangoons and spring rolls I’ve ever had by far! The food is really cheap and super tasty. Been there multiple times in the past year and it never disappoints. Their sesame chicken and general tso’s are my go-to and delicious. They’re also really quick - usually takes about 10 minutes for the food to be ready from the order confirmation.

Everything was over cooked and awful. The shrimp and lobster sauce was nothing but garlic, fried wontons were practically burnt as well as the sweet and sour chicken. Not to mention the lady taking our order was very unfriendly. We will not be going back. I do not recommend.

Running errands today and had a hankering for egg foo young. This place has great reviews so I came here. If I were doing take out, my review would be 5 stars because I’d only be rating the food…which is really good and generous portions. However, taking off 1 star because it’s 89 degrees outside and the AC is off and the door is open. Also taking off a star because this place is confusing. I had to stop in the doorway to figure what the heck was going on with the configuration of the furniture and junk setting around. I’m attaching a photo. Recommend for take out.

Awesome serving sizes and staff was very nice. Meat was so soft and the chicken lo mein was amazing.

Our team stayed at a nearby hotel, after way too long of a day competing! China Ocean was very close by- and the portions are huge! We got 15 small orders, to feed 17 people, and there was a lot left over! What’s even better, is that they sprang into action and had it all ready in 25 minutes. We ordered and picked-up in person. Next time we stay in Newport News, China Ocean will be part of our game plan!

i ordered through grubhub. food was hot and ready when i arrived for pick up. i ordered fried dumplings and general tso’s chicken combo. five hours later i was awoken in the middle of the night with food poisoning.

Absolutely love and recommend China Ocean. The food: portions are so big you get multiple meals from one order of food. The food is always steaming hot. The egg rolls are my go to. I literally anticipate when I get to order them again. Service: we've only ever ordered delivery and every single time the order has arrived either early or perfectly on time. The owner has even dropped off food before with his daughter which I found to be very sweet. 5/5 food quality 5/5 recommend to others

The food was terrific best boneless spare ribs I have had as a lunch combo ever! They were not overly sweet they were not fatty they were just delicious! Egg roll with lackluster. Rice could have used some seasoning. Regardless all of it together was delicious!

I’m giving it a 3 star the lady was rude on the phone I never gotten the folks I ask for and the gravy for my dinner spill all over my bed thanks to them putting hot gravy in a cup and Stacking them up on top of each other
