The therapists here are decent and provide the requested services with a pleasant demeanor and professionalism. My concern is with most of the people that work up front. Their disposition is very non-nonchalant and the 2 two that I have dealt with lack empathy. I, like many people in the reviews, was bombarded and sold on a membership. All of my problems started immediately after that. There was poor communication, never a return call as promised, dismissed voicemails and just outright lack of concern when speaking with them. My questions went unanswered or I was given "policy states...." answers. I gifted a membership to my mother and after 2 months I asked to have it cancelled due to the poor customer service that I received. I would definitely choose a different location if you decide to take advantage of the specials. Lorrie Sanderson

I am a member of the United States Coast Guard and I got transferred and needed to cancel my membership. I had to cancel my membership because I’m being relocated to an area that does not have massage envy. They gladly canceled my membership but took away the four months of massages that I had Accumulated because I was deployed and could not get a time in to see the masseuse. We to exploit the military massage envy!

My wife had been looking around for a good massage place and we decided to try ME. It was already hard to get an appointment and we took whatever appointment for Sunday that they had. They sent her confirmation daily and the Sunday of the appointment, while on our way and in less than an hour before the massage, they sent her a cancellation and to reschedule. Sunday is the only day she can get her massage. We called and so there was availability for next Sunday but we were done with this place. There was no apology. So it is ok for them to cancel at the last minute, but if we cancelled less than 24 hours, we get charged a no-show fee, is this a joke? Never again.

Check-In staff is always friendly and helpful! James and Kay are A-MAZING therapists! They make you feel so relaxed during your session. You feel like a new person when you leave. Highly recommend 😊

Got a full body message from a man named James Parker. He was professional, courteous, and polite. He listened to me when I voiced any issues with the message and made sure to adjust the pressure accordingly. Highly recommend James Parker for a masseur (male masseuse, for those who don't know what I mean).

This location fraudulently charged my card that isn’t even supposed to be on file. When I called and said I wanted the card removed from my account the person who answered said she couldn’t find the card on file despite having the receipt in front of her showing the card being charged. When I said I would like to cancel my membership because of this fraudulent activity she said I would have to come in, after I said ok before I could say anything else she slammed the phone down hanging up in my face without even ending the conversation or seeing if I had any other questions which I did. This only further convinced me that I made the right decision by wanting to cancel and I wouldn’t recommend massage envy to anyone especially not the Suffolk location due to their horrible front desk customer service. Seeing how many other people have wrote review on the staff here, it doesn’t seem like they care or are doing anything to correct their staff either.

I would have given 5 stars. The massage was absolutely amazing. The only reason I’m leaving 3 stars is because after a very relaxed massage, I was bombarded at the front desk with questions about joining a membership and their were also a lot of people in the lobby. To go from such a relaxed state to that was definitely overstimulating.

John is a fantastic therapist. He is attentive to what issues I'm having and works diligently to help feel better. Wonderful experience. Front desk girls were very nice, polite and professional.

Terrible customer service from managers. Their policies are ridiculous and they are unwilling to help make things right even when they have had someone as a monthly customer for over a year. Not how you keep clients. That being said, I have nothing against any of the therapists themselves- they were professional and provided great service. The office policies need to be handled better and they need to be more helpful to their clients.
