Unbelievably good. Infinitely better than chipotle. We always liked DT but haven’t been back in awhile but tried it again yesterday. The burrito was packed with flavor and we loved the touch screen menu so you can order exactly what you want.

Everything we had was subpar, tacos, quesadilla, queso, salsa, and churros. I would have rather had Moe's. For such a highly rated taco place, I was not impressed at all.

District Taco is one of my favorite chains for Mexican/Latin cuisine. My go to is the beyond meat (Itza) tacos Mexican way along with an order of chips and guacamole. I stopped by this chic strip mall for takeout since I was driving through the area and Google maps had them nearby. On another note, the great thing about District Taco, as a whole, is they are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which is a competitive advantage against other chains. What else is top-notch is the queso dip and the components to create your meal are almost farm fresh. District Taco really got things right with it's "way" of doing business and you should give this place a shot if you get a little tingle in your belly.

Honestly I was expecting a bit more at this restaurant. The flavors were mostly lacking, and the meat was somewhat dry. When you eat tacos, at a taco stand especially, you are expecting to eat something made with love and care. This place has nice employees but you don't get that feeling as much here as you would at a more authentic taco spot. The corn tortillas were especially bland and overly salty, and getting it "Mexican style" didn't help it out. The fish tacos were even worse, as it was just soft fish with no crunch. Frying that fish up would have made this spot about 10 times better. If you do want to eat here however, I would recommend going "Jeff style" but then you risk losing the flavor of the meat to the abundance of toppings. Overall it wasn't terrible but could be a lot better. The salsa was probably the best and most flavorful thing on the menu as well.

It was very very good. I happen to come in at the peak of lunch and it took a while to get my order. Update: 2 years from my last review. It is clearly a different world. Only two customers in the entire place (three employees). Still good food. Picked up some tacos this time.

Shrimp tacos are delicious. Flavor profile was simply damn good savory, crunchy, seasoned well, etc... service was fine. Service here slightly better than neighboring restaurants across lot and street. Bathrooms were clean. Dining area well maintained. Limited parking, 3-5 min walk from metro. Crossing at nearest intersection can be dangerous, no crosswalks.

I was finally next door again and told myself its time to try out some tacos. Ordered 3 tacos and happy hr nachos. When I opened the wrapper to my carnitas taco I was so surprised to see how little meat there was. Like a couple pinches of meat, almost all tortilla, onion and cilantro. The el pastor meat was extremely dry and chewy. The carne was also dry on top of being bland. There was such little meat I had remove 1 of the tortillas from each one. Even though the nacho's only had queso and gauc I did enjoy them. The environment was nice & cozy. The salsa bar gets 2 thumbs up. I didn't enjoy the food enough that I'd go out of my way to come back. Glad I was able to check it off my bucket list. Even though my tacos didn't hit the mark. The lady behind the counter Jay made it a more enjoyable experience. She's awesome!

SO BLAND. Uncle ben’s white rice with flavorless pork. Really gross sauce on top. This is poorly done Tex-mex at its absolute worst. Staff is nice, not their fault. AVOID.

Shared a nachos including Al Pastor with jalapenos and a side guac. That was $11.25. It is hard to find great quality, quantity, and price these days, my opinion. So, the food was good, I'm only critiquing what I had/ate. The rating should be in the range of (3.5-3.9) 🌟. Chips seemed under-crunchy, overall this was a ambivalent amount food for the price. The Al Pastor topping was tasty, the other topings looked and tasted good. This is a fast-food chain, I was probably inclined for a subdued meal because they do not serve beer here. The premises was clean as was the restroom, however no paper towels just an air-hand dryer which I do not prefer. (Unsanitary, do the research) Oh well, I perhaps will give their tacos a chance in this highly competitive market? Enjoy, pictures included I hope!
