Friendly and knowledgeable staff are always enthusiastic to help their customers. Wait time is never an issue. I left a large chain that has a pharmacy inside and I'm never looking back. Getting my covid vaccine was gentle and much easier than getting vaccinated by my PCP because the staff were understanding of my condition and helped me through my fears. As long as I live in the Williamsburg area, Williamsburg Drug Company is where I will go for any pharmaceutical needs.

Today, I went to Williamsburg Drug at McLaws Circle to get my 2nd COVID-19 booster vaccination and the 1st booster for my son. I checked the website to see when I could go to Williamsburg Drug for the vaccinations. The website said vaccinations hours were until 1:00 that day. We arrived there at 12:34. Catherine, who was lovely, explained to me that they discontinue providing vaccinations at 12:00 but perhaps the other location provided vaccinations until 1:00 since they close at 3:00. I told her that the Williamsburg Drug website said vaccination hours are until 1:00. Catherine was very nice and said they’d go ahead and do the vaccinations for us. I completed the paperwork she gave me and waited a short while. Unfortunately, the pharmacist on duty refused to do the vaccination because he wanted us to wait 15 minutes after he gave us the shots and because the store closed at 1:00, there was no time to do that. It was 12:40 when Catherine told me what the pharmacist said. She apologized and said he was not their regular pharmacist. She handed me back my paperwork and suggested I go to the Williamsburg Drug location on Jamestown Rd. Because it was now closer to 1:00, I called the Jamestown Rd. location while en route to them. I spoke to a female staff member and explained what happened. She put me on hold without telling me she was going to do so, then she simply hung up on me. I called back and said I was hung up on and the person said, “I must’ve accidentally hung up”. She remembered why I was calling and said she would ask the pharmacist if I could still come in for the vaccination. It was about 12:52. Lucky for me, the staff member said the pharmacist would do the vaccinations but only until 1:00. I was about a minute away and pulled up at about 12:54. I knew how long it would take me to get to that location as I work a few doors down on Jamestown Rd. When I walked in, the pharmacist on duty was Deb Prosek. I reiterated what happened at the McLaws Circle location. She told me again that the pharmacist at McLaws Circle was a fill-in doctor and sometimes vaccinations can’t be done and that sometimes these things happen. I told her I understood that because I am also in healthcare but that I thought I did everything I was supposed to do in trying to get my vaccinations from them. (I looked up the hours, called before going to the Jamestown Rd. location, etc.) Ms. Prosek said, “I’m sorry you’re upset but it’s not your inalienable right to get a booster whenever you want it.” My response was that “I know now that this is how you provide service and I won’t bother Williamsburg Drug again.” In the end, we did get our booster shots. And Catherine at McLaws Circle was terrific and tried to be accommodating. I have been a healthcare provider for over 20 years. I can’t say I haven’t made mistakes but if/when I do, I do my best to make up for it because I know it is a privilege to participate in the care of my patients. Up until this experience, I have really enjoyed my experiences with Williamsburg Drug. But since I always try hard to stay true to my word, I won’t be a bother to Williamsburg Drug again.

My Fiancé had a interview for a driver position and was discriminated against for his external appearance. During his interview a few different over the line comments were made too him yet he was told he would be emailed with information for a second interview with the main driver and never received a email and has been hung up on and avoided every time hes reached out. My mother also works for this Sanctimonious buissness so i am overall most displeased. And maybe someone should speak to (uk who runs ur hiring dept. i wont call her out) 🤢 about her hellacious attitude and judgmental perspective of applicants and humans in general. Do Better Williamsburg Drug.

I was told a prescription would be in twice and both times they didn't have it. I was also promised a call with updates and both times this didn't happen. Bad first impression means I will not be coming back even though I always want to give my business to a local pharmacy.

I don't understand the negative reviews, always another side to the story. But I go here for compounding meds, and cbd. Everyone there has always been polite and helpful. Wish they were closer.

Called this pharmacy to schedule an appointment for my 7 year old to get his 2nd Covid-19 vaccine. The woman who I spoke with asked me how old he was, and then directed me to pre-register online. After that was completed I could bring him any day between 3p-5p and they would come to the car to give him the vaccine. I went today and arrived at 4:30p only to be told that they aren't giving the vaccine to children under 12. He was given the 1st vaccine through the same pharmacy in December. So why aren't they giving it to the same age group a month later?? And why don't all of their employees know this??

I brought my daughter to get her COVID-19 booster shot and couldn´t believe the lack of protocols and false information disseminated by the staff member serving us. The staff member was not masked and proceeded to proselytize about the benefits of ivermercin and also ranted about the pressure to wear masks and how wrong it was. Avoid this place.

After scheduling an appt online for a Covid booster at a local pharmacy, I arrived only to be rudely told they didn't have me in their "system". I traveled 30 minutes to Williamsburg Drug on Jamestown Road, was politely greeted and when I asked if I could get a walk in Moderna booster, was told yes, you certainly can and from start to finish the whole process was 15 minutes. I will take my pharmacy needs to this business in future where they treat you with competence and respect.

Wonderful, caring and professional! My compounded prescriptions are a bit of a pain to most pharmacists but never here. Thank you for being so compassionate and understanding!
