The wait at this pharmacy is ridiculous. It has been TERRIBLE ever since the previous pharmacist, Raj, left. I am hoping another pharmacy is going in next door so I can switch

I continue to be impressed by this Walgreens pharmacy staff and lead male pharmacist. After a bad incident with a Rite Aid pharmacy off J. Clyde regarding a child COVID series mistake we switched our vaccination shots to this Walgreens for our children. Both times (one for my son's COVID booster and again today for his and my flu shots) the staff were wonderful. Great customer service, it's clear they enjoy their job and each other. Most of all, the male pharmacist who gave my son his shots both times is VERY patient, professional and accommodating to my son's fear of shots. I highly recommend this Walgreens location for your vaccination needs.

I had an appointment for vaccines. Waited more than 40 minutes past my scheduled time. Pharmacist wouldn't provide tech with vaccines/paperwork even though she asked three times and 5 people were waiting. I can't believe his attitude guess he doesn't care about patients, appointments or business at this location.

Sadly it seems a continual problem with the pharmacy failing to follow through on what they say. At least 3x now, I call, they give me a pu time, I then arrive at the states time only to be told that it’s not ready - and the pharmacist is out for one reason or another. Then I wait in the parking lot with a promise to move my script to the front and contact me when ready…& every time I have to get back in line (after waiting in the parking lot for 30 minutes) because the call never comes. This is the closest Walgreens to my home or I would’ve left ages ago.

I have been shopping at various Walgreens for 18 years and I have never experienced anything bad, but on 8-4-2022 at the Walgreens on 2400 George Washington Memorial Highway Yorktown, VA store number 10453; that all changed. Police were called by the shift leader Shelby Joyner. He exaggerated the situation and wasted the police time. I also called 911 and let them know I was waiting outside and I was not leaving and was not armed. Police were very nice and stated that he might be having a bad day. That does not give someone the liberty to mistreat anyone! The officers told me to call cooperate and the BBB. Cashier Charlie Chance needs to be promoted! Charlie even told Shelby he didn't need to call the police twice. Charlie did his best to defuse the situation and even suggested to him an alternative. He still was determined to be irate and disrespectful to me. It is a shame how people act when they assume or feel that they have some authority. All of this happened because Charlie was honoring a price that was posted. Charlie never asked Shelby for any assistance Shelby inserted himself into my transaction for no reason.

Worst pharmacy ever. I pick up half of my daughters prescriptions and ask when the rest will ready. The tech consults the pharmacist and then tells me the rest will be ready in about 20 minutes, I show back up 30 minutes later and they tell me the pharmacist stepped out for a while. Another 20 hrs later and it's still not ready so I call and get someone on the phone and am told they are still working on it. Good thing it was only a severe ear infection and not something life threatening. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I had my prescription sent here on 31 May 2022 at 2:30 PM. I showed up at 5 PM at the drive thru only to find 5 cars waiting in line. I decided to wait, but the car at the window took 10 minutes to complete it's order. So I got out of line and went inside only to find 10 people waiting in line. There was only one attendant splitting her time between the drive thru and the people inside. They finally called another attendant in to help out, which did help. After 40 minutes of waiting, I got to the attendant and was told my prescription was not ready (time was 5:40 PM). I was shocked and furious. I left in disgust. I come back after work on 1 June 2022 at 5:00 PM, at the drive thru, and was told I had to wait for the pharmacist to come back, but could not wait at the window, and was told I had to drive around and get back in line. This infuriated me even more. When I got back to the window, the attendant handed me my prescription and I didn't need to talk to the pharmacist after all. I will never have my prescriptions delivered to this pharmacy again due to extremely poor customer service and super long wait times.

I previously wrote the review below because of long wait times for vaccines. However want to add this review because of service today and change to 5 stars. We had Covid tests today. It couldn’t have gone better. Thank you! Previous visits: Do not comes here for vaccinations! For first vaccine in early Feb 2022, although we were 15 minutes early, we didn’t get called till 30 minutes after our appointment time. Now today we’ve been waiting almost an hour past our appointment time and still haven’t been called. Why make patients make an appointment if you’re not going to keep them!!!

Google maps indicates the store opens at 8am. Having a sick grandson, I was there at 8 only to find the pharmacy doesn’t open until 9am. Really, a drug store opens at 8 but you can’t get drugs until 9. I guess pharmacist are like bankers, they need extra sleep. I will find another pharmacy immediately. The business owner’s should take a look at all of the one star reviews given to this store and address their problems that exist.

Not usually one to leave negative reviews, but this Walgreens potentially jeopardized a very important flight. I was told my 24 hour Covid test results would be delivered via email by the end of the day. Still haven't gotten it and it's the next morning. Fortunately, I got a 72 hour covid test prior which arrived in 36 hours from a different Walgreens. Used those results to get into airport. Here's the difference between the 2 and the primary reason I'm writing this. The 24 hour covid test was supposed to be done ON SITE by this particular store. No sending to a lab in a different location and waiting for an email. No. These folks were supposed to do it themselves. If I didn't have foresight, I could've potentially missed my flight. End of the day, indeed.
