I greeted the cashier who so happened to be the manager. Asked for some cigarettes she asked for my id, left my money on the counter and went to my car to get the ID. When she rung me up for the second time she started tossing my items towards me with attitude and got an even worse attiude when I asked for a bag. Her response was “if I left my money on the counter again she will allow another customer to spend it”. I responded ok and let her know her attitude wasn’t called for. She stated she thought I had an attitude because she asked for me my ID, clearly I didn’t, I went and got it and showed it to her with no issue. She continued to go back and forth even though all I was saying “all of this isn’t necessary” she would reply “you’re right it isn’t necessary, so you should leave”. I didn’t start any aggression and tried to defuse tension, the manager was trying to fuel an argument and displaying anything but professional and good customer service. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go here.

Great cigarette prices in Yorktown before getting to Newport News. Customer service always pleasant. Oh... gas prices competitive. Usually a few cents lower than others in the area. Confusing gas pump and parking lot layout. But again..worth it!

I walked to the counter and I, the CUSTOMER greeted the cashier. She ignored me and kept scanning some sheets while yelling to the other employee and paid no mind to me. Then she had the nerve to get an attitude with me when i left without saying anything in return.

Never going back there. When I walked to the cashier she had attitude for no reason, gave her the exact change for my drink, she asked me much was there, I told her, and she told good and get out. I believe she don't like minorities that much.

I got to this place often. Staff is always very friendly! The even remember what I like to buy and have given me coupons for my favorite items! This place also has an assortment of beat little gifts.

They obviously close whenever the hell they want! I went there 15 minutes before they were scheduled to close and the lazy a** clerk signaled that they were closed. I point to the sign with the closing times and of course he give me a stupid a** look!!!

I believe the woman who was inconvenienced by my stopping there a couple of weeks ago was named Susan. They must have very small signs at the pumps that said "prepayment" because I didn't see it. I couldn't figure out what the problem was but nobody came over a speaker to tell me. I went inside and inquired and have never been treated with such a "Duh! Could you be any dumber?" attitude than I was by the woman behind the counter. I had a tiny rental car and had no idea how much gas it would take, so I said "I'll just put $10 in, please." The response I got was "$10?! Gas is only $2/gallon...!" I stated my reason for only getting $10 and got raised eyebrows in response. Southern hospitality, my foot. If I lived in the area, this place would not get my business.

Did not know what DEF was. If you work at a fuel stop and sell diesel. Its a good idea to know about fuel.
