After starting to look for flooring products through another company, and getting the poorest customer service around, I jumped ship and headed into Decor Carpet One in Bellevue. From the moment I walked in, the service was like night and day. I like that they work with their own installers so I wouldn't have the hassle of working with another entity for install. We had some issues toward the end of install, which were all promptly and effectively addressed by the lead installer. They did a great job of ensuring I was satisfied before considering the job complete. I will definitely work with them in the future. The photos show the beautiful luxury vinyl plank I had installed, which I couldn't be happier with.

These guys couldn't get a cut and bound area rug installed properly if their life depended on it. They sent one guy to do my install (a rude salesman who obviously was mad about having to deliver and install the rug). He took all his anger out on me. He ended up scratching my floor and then blamed it on me running around trying to take pics of every scratch on my floor before leaving. He damaged the binding on two different rugs with his knife he used to unpack the rug. After he kept damaging each new rug (due to being just plain dumb about how to open the plastic covering) I gave them more tries to get a rug installed that wasn't damaged. At this point they stopped communicating with me because my living room actually had furniture in it by this time, and they didn't want to have to hire actual professional installers. My invoice stated installation was included with rug and told me they were just "doing me a favor" with the delivery and install. Extremely rude, extremely unprofessional plus just out and out lying. I finally just gave up. USE THEM AT YOUR OWN RISK. Maybe they are okay to use if you are a builder/developer, but I would not take the risk for small custom jobs.

Craig Berrysmith at the Tukwila location was great to work with. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and also very friendly. He explained the differences between the different types of materials to newbies like us and explained the various other products we would need for flooring as well. The sheer selection of items wowed us too.
