I purchased a Lander desk base, monitor arm, and under-desk PC mount from iMovR. I was impressed with the engineering of all three. They are well-built products and I'm happy to own some. I had a problem setting up my desk base which ended up being completely my fault, but they were very understanding and did a video call with me to resolve the issue. I ended up returning the monitor arm because my monitor was too heavy, and they were understanding there as well. Although I had a hard time connecting to someone in customer support through email, which they said is due to staffing difficulties right now, once I gave them a phone call I was treated with the utmost care and promptness. The next time I need office equipment I will be happy to purchase from iMovR again! They have a showroom at this location if you are local and want to see the desks before you order.

The company doesn’t post negative customer reviews on their website or respond appropriately to simple customer service issues. I attempted to leave a negative review after 3 weeks of unsuccessful troubleshooting for a Lander frame accessory that arrived damaged due to substandard packaging. After 2 phone calls, a chat session, and multiple emails that involved no fewer than 4 people at the company, I attempted to post a negative review and complained through my payment processor. I’ll bet you can’t find my 1 star review on the Lander DIY frame product page. There are only 11 totals reviews, not suspect at all. It’s important to note that my customer service interactions were completely one-sided; at no point in the troubleshooting process did anyone reach back out to me or follow-up to my requests for a replacement product (a simple $50 center support brace for the frame). I’m fortunate that I used a payment processor that attempts to resolve disputes, but they eventually decided in my favor. The reason? The company never responded to the case, even after finally shipping me a replacement part for which I had no notice. Be wary of perfect feedback.

I purchased this desk after reading some reviews on a website which seems to ensure they always give every product and accessory made by iMovr only 5-stars year over year and suspect there is some type of relationship there. I purchased The L-shaped Lander desk and when I was checking out was offered an large # of accessories that were promoted as items that would enhance my desk experience and by default believes they would actually work with/fit the desk they were sold with. The 2-stars is due to the company’s attitude and response when confronted that some items they sold me are simply not usable with what I was sold. Details are below of you are interested in reading the paragraphs but the gist is the standing desk works well and some accessories are good, some are unusable and some are overpriced and unnecessary. I’ve pasted my issues I sent directly to their service email below and everything was rejected (pictures were included). I was in the process of moving so by the time I gathered all the proof, pictures and documented issues they just said been too long even though I explained I had everything on original pallet. I’d also like to point out I spent over $4,000 on desk + accessories and was only adamant about getting a $70 credit (I was going to buy standing mat).for the laptop tech dock and asked for consideration on exchanging white (unused) power cable kit for black and the pencil tray that won’t fit if you buy the other accessory, 3D steady type keyboard tray. They just said NO across the board, too bad. I hope this thing never breaks based on their lack of consideration. Details: iMOVER Tech Dock (DA-TDCK) was also offered to me with this model desk and I went to install. When you put the track underneath the desk, where the end hits the underdesk cross bar, the edge of the track sits proud of the desk sticking out despite instructions showing the edge as under the desk. There is not enough room under the desk to put track fully under desk and as this was offered as accessory with this desk I believe i should not have to pay shipping and a restocking fee to return this item that is unusable. The StedyType Exo - 3D Laminate - Black (KT-STE1-B2) is great and i natrually put on the larger section of L-shape desk where i will be typing. This was offered along with another accessory the iMovR Hie-Away Storage Drawer (DA-SD-B) and i purchased both. When you install the Steady Type Exo, there is not room under the desk to install the Hideaway Drawer and of course cannot use the predrilled starting holes/points; it just doesn't fit after you have the this installed. I believe i should also be able to return this with no penalty. Everything is black, but the iMovR Tucker Pro Cable Management Kit with Cable is White; i'd like in black or to be able to return/exchange for black but of course now see on invoice it's white and must have missed it. DA-CM-P1-W imovr laptop mount tray (DA-MA-LM) shows item A, C, D, B & E connecting to some type of arm but only A, B & E were in box with no C or D (pictures attached). Also there is no Concerto Arm even though instructions say Concerto Arm Laptop Assembly. I've found a 3rd party item to hold my laptop and believe i should be able to return this item without having to pay shipping or a 20% restocking fee since it was incomplete.

My daughter changed jobs and is now working for a company that requires her to exclusively work from home. I volunteered to help her find a standing desk and did some research. I will admit it was a daunting task, as there seemed to be so many different companies and desk options. After looking around the internet I started a chat with Marc at iMovR. I found him to extremely informative and patient (I had very little knowledge initially). We purchased an Energize desk - it arrived a couple of weeks later - we put it together last weekend. It was not difficult and we found a you tube video which we ran concurrently. For me, structural strength was important and the desk definitely is solid. We went with the thicker desk top and it is not light. The motor is smooth when it is raised & lowered. She has only been using it for a week, but has said she loves it. The warranty was an important factor in the decision, plus I was happy that it is manufactured in Michigan. Marc was awesome and was available when we had some extra questions, on a couple of different occasions.

If there were a 10 stars rating that would be more fitting of my experience with the ImovR products and staff! I have found the products versatile and easy to use. The monitor arms are flexible allowing several height and width adjustments and can hold huge monitors such as the Dell curve, U3821 steadily! These products are well made with every consideration a user could ask. A huge shout out to Marc and Ben who are super knowledgeable about all their products and take the time with patience to understand your needs rather than just selling you any product. They are like your own private ImovR product consultants! I would recommend the ImovR products wholeheartedly! Try it!!

I have been using the Lander desk for about 5 months now and it has been such an improvement from my old desk. I would highly recommend iMovr for anybody that has back pain. Great product

Product: 30" deep x 83" wide Lander with SteadyType, ThermoTread GT treadmill, and the fancy adjustable chair (Tempo TreadTop Office Chair). All this was far from cheap, totaling ~$7500 when all was said and done (installation, pads, computer monitor arms, power supply and management options, cable routing, etc.) Cons, one moderate (or worse, depending upon your individual preferences) and two minor: 1) Monitors definitely shake/vibrate when walking. It's not horrible, but it's not rock steady like the quad leg versions we have at work (from another manufacturer, whose product is more expensive and much uglier). You should strongly consider trying a desk/treadmill out before purchasing to see if this bothers you or not, especially if you are tall and heavy. Consider two separate monitor arms if you have dual monitors, rather than the single arm with two heads, since the former setup is reported to be more stable. 2) Customer service is ok- not awful, but not great. Had a few issues setting up and using, and received several relatively nonsensical, non-grammatical replies from anonymous support people who obviously did not spend any significant time reading the requests for help nor crafting their replies. However, with persistence and some time, we eventually received the help we needed. 3) Takes a while to figure out the treadmill and desk height controls (paddle and iPhone). It would be nice if someone on their team wrote an integrated, clear manual discussing all the options to shorten the learning curve. Pros: 1) It's friggin' gorgeous! We spent a bit extra to get one of the hardwood versions. Beautiful workmanship on the wood. Can't say enough good things about the aesthetics. 2) SteadyType is solid and works well, especially for a heavy-fingered non-touch-typer like me. Much better than the flimsy keyboard stands from others. 3) I can't tell you what a joy it is to spend 6-8 hours paying bills and doing necessary reading while slowly walking (0.7 mph is what the Mayo team recommended for an easy day, but one can definitely speed up to the max of 2.5 mph if just reading) rather than wasting all that time sitting in a chair. Even if the health benefits are not as substantial as those touted, it's much more fun and one stays much more alert. 4) Treadmill is solid and quiet.

This review is only for the delivery of their products. I ordered a desk several weeks ago, knowing it would be a few weeks to get it. They use a commercial shipping company with the worst customer service imaginable for the delivery of the desk itself. I got a robocall asking me to sign up for a delivery window, which was yesterday. No desk and no call. So I called back today and the auto message asked me if I want to "keep" my current time slot of 3pm to 7pm YESTERDAY. I'm now on hold for the second time today to speak with an actual human, because the phone system of CEVA logistics dropped me off of hold after being in the state for 15 minutes on my earlier call.

The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. We ordered our desk even though there weren’t close-ups of the upgraded white table top. We received it and it looked like a piece of cheap medical equipment. We wanted to return it and were willing to eat a little bit of the cost. Turns out, the restocking fee and return shipping will end up being 50% of the cost of the desk. We called customer service to see if they could help us find a cheaper shipping rate than $200. They told us no and admitted that the box they shipped it in was so flimsy that it will likely be damaged when we ship it back. Basically he said we have to live with an ugly $800 desk or risk it getting damaged. Every other standing desk manufacturer doesn’t charge you a 20% restocking fee AND make you pay for $200+ return shipping. I have checked three others so far and the ones that require you to pay return shipping, don’t charge a restocking fee. This company must make all their money off of their horrible return policy because their desks aren’t worth half of their cost. I wouldn’t even bother with a negative review if they were reasonable to deal with, but they were probably the worst of any company I have ever dealt with. Order at your own risk!
