I lived near here when this place opened up many years ago and I loved it while I was there. I moved away for almost 5 years and when I returned I was extremely happy to see that they had survived the pandemic and were still alive. Owners are always super nice, every sandwich I've tried is unique and delicious. It's more on the spendy side when compared to Subway (but really not that much more) but it's not fair to Subway to compare the 2 on flavor. Gandalfo's quality has remained excellent all these years, the staff is just as nice as the first time I went, and despite it being a member of a small chain you feel like you're in an actual one-of-a-kind New York Deli. This is because the sandwiches are great but actually because of all the care, friendliness, and love that the owners clearly put into the establishment.

I came here based on all the glowing reviews and I can see why so many people had a great time here. The food was amazing and was filled with so many quality ingredients. The Rockefeller Reuben was exactly what I was lookin for in a New York style sandwich, and the All American had a beautiful crunch to the bread. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I will definitely be back!

I made a shopping trip down to the us and decided to stop in here since we saw it had such a high rating. I understand why after eating here. I had the all American and my dad had the Rockefeller reuben. Neither had any complaints and enjoyed then thoroughly. Wish we had a location up in Canada.

Boyfriend says these are the best sandwiches he's had, better than anything in Bellingham and Seattle combined. While I don't know about Seattle sandwich shops, I do know I love this place. So many amazing options, good prices, and always a friendly smiling face at the counter. And, I must say, I absolutely love the attitude conveyed by all of the quote signs around the place. My favorite says "Karma has no time limit."

An amazing sandwich! Whatever you choose & whatever size, it will be made to order just for you. Clean, neat, & welcoming for dine in or take out, if you’re in a hurry. The owner’s are one of the nicest couples you’ll ever meet. I’ve never had a bad experience there. Any excuse is a good excuse to stop in and grab some lunch. I trust that you will be as pleased as I have always been.

I have eaten at this restaurant many many times. While my parents lived here, they would go there often and the owners were always so kind to my parents. And my parents loved the owners and the food. I personally think the sandwiches and salads are delicious and the owners are likely the kindest people I have ever met. They are a blessing to our community.

Fantastic sandwiches. I have never had a bad meal from this place. By far, the best sandwich place in Whatcom County. Love that they are supportive of our men/women who serve their communities and nation as well. They are definitely a place that deserves our business.

This is my favorite sandwich joint in the entire Western US. The Carnegie Hall sandwich is my absolute favorite. Corned beef, turkey, coleslaw, and Russian dressing!! I always get mine on toasted Sourdough. Absolutely amazing!!! This is a real New York style deli that makes amazing sandwiches. It's a bit expensive for a sandwich but worth every penny!!

This place is great. First, the staff is so nice! They are very sweet and just nice. Then the sandwiches are phenomenal! The Dagwood was delicious and today's NY Bridge corn beef is to die for! This place rocks!

Terrific service, good food. Sandwiches are great-be patient, they toast the bread, give you pickles, all the details...all worth the wait! Tried a side salad, not a fan of straight from the salad dressing bottle flavoring, but that's our thing. Totally recommend and will go back.
