The Mansion was simply lovely during our visit to Rosario Resort. They were very friendly, with excellent service, and the food was magnificent. We celebrated my birthday there with a sweet message written in chocolate sauce, complete with a candle and tiramisu. It was divine.

We stumbled across this resort as we were planning on just fueling up our boat. We decided to get a slip and stay. This resort was quaint and relaxing. The history of this area is amazing- restaurant located inside the mansion museum. This restaurant was so good. They had the best crab cakes we had on the islands so far. The pork sliders were unlike any I have had. I had the salmon with bacon onion relish and my husband had the newyork strip steak. His brussel sprouts were slightly undercooked but overall the meal was still great. My meal was perfect. Gary was our waiter. He was pleasant and fun to chat with. The view was amazing.

Fantastic food and fantastic experience!! Our waiter chris was super friendly and down to earth. He recommended the pork chop which was phenomenal!! I had a burger which was to die for! If I didn’t live 800 miles away this would definitely be a weekly ritual!! Again, fantastic service and fantastic food!

Tucked into Cascade Bay, Rosario provided the best views of any restaurant that we visited on the San Juans! The food was also amazing, and the wait staff was very pleasant! We ate locally sourced oysters, the seafood pasta, and the king salmon, all of which were amazing! This place is popular (and rightfully so), so you may want to call well in advance to set a reservation.

I have been coming here for years and now I like it even more. Their food and drinks seem to be better than before. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the bay. You can take a walk around the campus, look at the museum, and come in for a nice lunch/dinner or drink. They also offer a nice brunch. I stayed here many years ago and was not too impressed with the room because is pretty out of date, Look like an old apartment got converted into a resort. They do have a pretty nice balcony overlooking the bay and their outdoor heated pool is nice.

The Mansion is a wonderful experience. Breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed the yogurt parfait, French toast and the homemade croissant were delicious. Oh, the view is incredible with whales in the harbor

We've stayed at the Rosario Resort a number of times over the years. Generally good experiences. This time around staff went above and beyond to make mealtimes a positive experience. Staff were friendly and hard working. They were very understaffed for breakfasts, which impacted the timeliness of service, but that was at no fault of the servers. Food and drinks were good. Mostly pleased with our experience and applaud the serving staff and cooks for their dedication and care.

Tip: go before 10:30 to get your and hands on the lavender donut. It’s very popular and the waiter said it sells out by 11 AM every day. Skip the cinnamon roll, it has good flavor but the dough has no rise to it which is the best part of a cinnamon roll. Those moist and light fluffy layers from the yeast just aren’t there. Biscuits and gravy definitely could’ve had more meat in the gravy, I definitely prefer a more balanced meal that’s not just bread and gravy but has some protein. Add the eggs. The French toast a good flavor and fresh fruit but the dishes all seemed like they needed a little bit extra something. Potatoes are just plain little potatoes, sides are just plain. Menu could be elevated, but taste overall was good.
