First time customer alert ⚠️ 📢 Went on a day trip and wanted to try this for the reviews Food: Had Country Fried Steak with Sourdough bread Comments below: - Came on a weekday and was still quite busy - Was greeted and sitted quickly and the Waitress asked if we wanted coffee - Many selection of food to pick from and decent amount of tables - Food was quite large portion and will worth the cost ratio - Taste wise was pretty good in my opinion I loved the country gravy though the hash brown could of been better. Felt like it was too buttery and not enough crunch/brown - Soughdough bread was really good though. Felt really fresh Overall was quite pleased with the restaurant and would recommend to try xoxo J approved ~ Kid-friendliness: Good place for children to have breakfast Parking: Front parking but limited if it's busy

Came here a week ago on a weekend. Place was busy but they were able to accommodate our big group. Food was great and portions were huge! Will come back for sure

The food is delicious, but worth the wait. Biscuits are HUGH, I ordered a 1/2 order of Biscuits and gravy could only eat half. The biscuit is my husband's and he had to take it home after his breakfast of steak and eggs.

Service was ok. Food was good. Wait to get a seat was extremely long. They served the biggest pancake I have seen.

Stopped in Saturday for brunch. 20 minute wait for a table for two. Very popular place within the community. I really liked the portion sizes, the taste of the food and the quality. Overall it's an amazing value and what you'd expect for an American country breakfast diner. It's the kind of place my grandparents would take me to, and you'd go every other weekend or after church. I got a cowboy scramble and my wife got the country fried steak. Food was hot when it got to us and very flavorable..though i added a lot of hot sauce and pepper to mine. We both took boxes for our leftovers. Be very hungry when you come here, or have space in the fridge to bring it back home. It's comparable to Billy's Cafe in burlington, but if i had to choose one or the other...its a tough choice. Mr. Ts would be my choice if i wanted biscuits and gravy. Also, the service wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad. Our table was clean and had water waiting for us. Waitress was nice. The place could be updated inside but It's what gives the place charm! I will be coming back. Vegetarian options: If you're vegan, this place doesn't have any options that are non dairy, no meat. Kid-friendliness: Families and lots of kids eat here.

Breakfast was great the service was even better. I had the rib eye and my gf had the day special country fried steak, the fresh squeezed orange juice made the difference definitely coming back....

I had to be in the area for the day, so I decided to stop in for breakfast. It was around 10:00 on a Friday morning and they were pretty busy with both dine in and take out orders. I went inside to see about getting a table and was informed, for the future, that I was supposed to check in at the take out window outside first. She found me a table anyway and didn't make me go back outside to do it the "right" way. I ordered a half order of the biscuits and gravy. It's huge! I wasn't able to finish it. It was good. The biscuit tasted biscuit-y and the gravy had bits of sausage in it. The coffee tasted like someone had used the coffee pot for an ashtray. It was so horrible that even though I added 6 of those little half-n-half cups I still couldn't drink it. But I didn't say anything because the waitress was so busy that I felt bad for her.

I went to Mr. T’s cafe based off of a recommendation from a friend. The facility could use some updating but it wasn’t uninviting. The food was good. The portions are huge. They are known for their biscuits and they were really good. The biscuits were moist, fluffy, and the right amount of crispiness. The gravy had good flavor but lacked the meatiness that one desires with sausage gravy. I ordered the full size but I could only eat 1/4 of the meal. My son ordered the mini belly buster. His only complaint was that the huge pancake came with a tiny bit of syrup. The server didn’t check in on us (busy morning) otherwise we would have asked for more syrup. The food was good enough that I would visit again, and recommend the restaurant to people in the area.

Don't come unless you're real hungry! Food was great and portions are for sharing or leftovers. Largest side order of very good hash browns I've ever received. Omelet was as good as any 5 star restaurant.
