My wife went inside to make a cash deposit on a Friday. Just trying to deposit cash, she was asked what her occupation was. She said she was unemployed and again the person asked what her previous job was. She said nothing as she has been a stay at home mom for the last 27 years. The teller said that her response was not an option. They refused to take her deposit. I went in to the bank on Saturday with her deposit slip and the same amount of cash and made the deposit with no questions asked. Why is US Bank now discriminating against my wife making a deposit versus me making the same deposit?

Was interested in consolidating credit card debit into a No interest card for the first 12-24 months. The teller did not fully explain the implications of the card that he applied me for, most specifically he did not explain that with balance transfers there is a 3% fee attached depending on the amount transferred. In my case a few of $122 was charged and the full amount on the card was not transferred eliciting multiple transfers and multiple fees onto this new card . In addition, he failed to explain that i would be unable to transfer my balance on my cash back US Bank Visa to the new platinum US Bank Visa or another words US Bank does not allow for internal credit card transfers. this is a problem as I basically was tricked into opening up another card when my intention was to eliminate them.

I checked what time the drive thru opened today so that I could transact some business realizing that ongoing remodel was happening. Website indicated it was open. Imagine my dismay when I drove there to find construction fence across driveway. Is the IT dept on vacation????

Stopped by twice because of lack of explanations. The branch manager was so nice and explained everything on my second visit, BUT one of bankers/Tellers, Mr.C had horrible customer service. He may be only interested whether I refinance with him or not. Too much personal questions I got from him. I even said “should I tell you everything “ to make him stop talking.... I had a request and fully explained to him what I needed. He even double checked with me then printed wrong statement, so I did not need it. He still charged $6 for it even though I didn’t take the statement with me. After I said I am not interested in refinancing with him he seemed very annoyed and wanted to kick me out quickly. I had a few of bad customer services experiences last 5 years with this branch but just put up with it until today. That guy hit the spot. Will close every single accounts in US bank very soon.

Generally a good experience. But I went in the other day to make an account and a new guy working there who I've never seen before was helping me. He asked me if I pay my taxes (what?), gave me inaccurate information about a wire I was receiving, kept saying "next" on repeat while I was reading what I was agreeing to, and it took about 2 hours to make an account. He also seemed to know nothing about how company structures in Washington state work and at first said I couldn't even open an account. Very large ego for a very stupid person. Pretty annoying experience.

Awful customer service. I had a check mailed to me, never received it, then someone cashed it at US Bank. I went into US Bank to see how to resolve it because I had a copy of the cashed check with the account number it was deposited to. They said "not our problem". I don't even have an account with US Bank, and NEVER will. It IS their problem when they cash a check for their customer, who stole a check that doesn't belong to them.

Hard to get ahold of the branch. I get if they're busy, but at least have a message system or patch it to the 800 number rather then ringing for 3 min then hanging up with no info.
