Relatively new customer to Archer Auto but they have offered excellent service for the last two fixes needed for my family's vehicles

Joe allowed me to swing in at 4 on a Friday to fix up my muffler before they left for the weekend. The service was fast and the prices reasonable to get my vehicle fixed ASAP. Definitely will come back here!

I've been using Joe for many years. His location is not as close to me as it once was due to my life changes so I've tried other mechanics. Trying others always reminds me of what I like about Joe: (1) His prices are reasonable, and (2) He evaluates the vehicle early in the day to determine if anything additional is needed, then contacts me with a cost, if he can do it today, and an assessment of if it is needed or can wait. I can't tell you how many either wait until late in the day to look at a vehicle initially to come back with a list of things needed that they will need your car for another day or you will have to come back for (how inconvenient). I trust Joe to evaluate my vehicle and let me know what is needed (for safety or to prevent further problems), and what can wait or is coming up (to allow me to make choices to shift the timing of what will be costly work). As I mentioned, using Joe is not as convenient for me as it was years ago, but I continue to return because I appreciate the service and value he and his team offer.

Iv'e had routine maintenance and large repairs handled by Archer Auto. The first time was when I had been given a notice by the dealer that I needed an expensive repair done. I contacted Joe, they did the repair with factory parts but at much reduced cost. Since then I've had all my routine repair work done. Joe the owner is always willing to work with me and my schedule. He explains what is needed, calls when done, explains the work completed and always at a fair price, less than what I used to get charged at the dealer.

Brought my 84 rabbit convertible in for a alignment after installing struts and shocks myself. They were really great to deal with on the phone even when I had to change the date of the appointment. Went over what they did and what they couldn't do because of the way car was manufactured. Would do business with them again!

Although I can not comment on the quality of work, I can comment on the attitude and environment when I went in to have an estimate done. I waited at counter for a few minutes as the man that "helped" me, mozied his way over to the counter in no big hurry at all. When greeted by this man the only thing he could do is constantly look down at my tattoos (I have 3 total) on my arms and seemed more concerned with that, than the work I needed on my car. He seemed as if he hated being there and didn't really care if I chose to use their business or not. I asked several questions about prices, and got no really answer. I know whats wrong with my car, and I asked how much to fix it. He said he wouldn't give me a price because there could be other stuff wrong too. I didn't come in for a full work over, and I don't want someone looking at my car and all of a sudden telling me a need 2000 of work done. I've done everything from brakes to engine swaps on my own vehicles so I know what i'm talking about, but I just recently moved into he city and have nowhere to work on my vehicles anymore. This sounded to me like I was going to pay for stuff I didn't want to get done, and pay people that didn't enjoy what they do for a living to work on it. It took me no more than 5 minutes to have prices and an appointment scheduled from the auto repair facility down the road after I left this place. Like i said before, I cant comment on quality because I didn't, and never will have any work done on my vehicles here, but if your a person who values good customer service, and a positive attitude I would highly advise you to shop elsewhere..
