I am enjoying this quiet and roomy fitness center. I like both locations & have found the staff to be nice, chill and helpful. I wish they would send out some type of email to members about updates for the gym - shortened hours, cleanings, etc

Pinnacle Health & Fitness is hands-down a phenomenal gym! The owner, Mike, is extremely friendly and caring. The facilities are very clean, have plenty of machines, equipment, and space to do whatever you want. This location has made the absolute most of its space- with a fitness room, stationary bike room, designated lifting space, and cardio space. Plus, they offer delicious smoothies and protein shake. They have towels for use during your sweat sesh. This location had a sauna and a hot tub- both extremely well taken care of. The fitness instructors I have had for classes there are the absolute best, as well!! Plus, they offer a lot of classes- pretty much any Les Mills class. Also, you get access to the Fitchburg (mother) gym that is even more phenomenal than this one! If I still lived in Madison, this would be my gym- no question!

Awful gym. Resigned a membership after several months away, paid for my first months membership, then 4 days later, was charged again for the same month. When signing my contract, I had asked about my teenage son also joining, the owner made comments on how I must've been really young when I had a child. Owner tried justifying comments by stating he had children young. Went to cancel my membership based on these and other factors and was told it's not allowed even after asking about paying a cancellation fee. Manager Jacob threatened to ruin my credit. Machines are not wiped off by members, rarely is there someone at the front desk when you need help. When I spoke with the owner on changing my payment method, he asked me if it was a valid payment method. Poor treatment and verbal accosting by management/owners when you express displeasure with their services. I feel very uncomfortable going to this gym in the future given the inappropriate comments and treatment both before and after bringing up complaints.

Great location, has everything you would need from a gym right off the square. The staff that I have worked with are awesome, super accommodating and friendly. Price is reasonable and they are willing to work with you on deals if they can.

More of a bro's gym. People don't clean off the machines. The downstairs weight room is small with dated machines. The locker rooms were nice and I enjoyed the sauna. Didn't attend any of the workout classes because they didn't fit with my schedule. When I signed up for the 7 day trial the gym wouldn't tell me their rates, which is skeptical. After 7 days no follow up... So guess it's free... ? ¿ ? I'm surprised if this place ever gains any new customers.

Pinnacle is great! I joined this summer and got a 3 month membership since I'll only be in Madison through August. Lots of flexible plan options, great equipment and selection, and super friendly and helpful staff! I definitely recommend Pinnacle if you need a new workout spot downtown.

High quality gymnasium, fantastic equipment, friendly, personable, helpful staff, great amenities (such as locker rentals, towel service, water/juice bar/snack options, personal training and massage), perfect location and aesthetics. This is the third health club/gym I've been a member of in the Madison area and this is where I plan to stay. One of my favorite options when I started was that they offer membership options that include month-to-month contracts (there's also a free week new client trial, and a two week period to cancel your membership if you buy one), so if you're not going to be in Madison a full year or aren't ready to commit, you have that choice. Highly recommend.

I enjoy being a member there, always clean etc. However the one issue I have is the pool classes. There are already only four lanes for an entire gym, and on top of that they will close 3/4 lanes for 5 people doing a 'water running class'....a little ridiculous. Why not just close 2 lanes for such a low turnout?
