I was charged twice and each person I spoke with told me different information; some were belittling when I know I was told they have yet to send me the refund while others refused to acknowledge the invoice stating I was not refunded.

They assigned me a delivery date of July 22nd and that they had to pick up the POD by July 11th to move from Wisconsin to Virginia, then on the 22nd didn't hear from them after they missed my delivery time had to call to find out they couldn't locate my POD that it was in transit which had my entire 2 bedroom apartment in there, but they couldn't tell me where in transit. Then they proceeded to tell me that they will deliver it as soon as they get it. So called Saturday to be told they hadn't found it, but that they would mark on my file that if they got it it would be delivered on Monday the 25th, but for sure on Tuesday the 26th. So called Monday the 25th was told by an associate that they had located the POD and was at the storage facility on the 24th, but it wouldn't be delivered till the 26th even though the delivery group said they would deliver it on the 25th if they got it. So I called back later to see why they wouldn't deliver it only to be told they hadn't found the POD yet and that it was still in transit so someone was lying. They finally delivered it on the 26th around noon, but the help I had gotten to unload it already left because they were 4 days late so I got unload the POD by myself. Also it was impossible to get banking information changed. Had a card that expired so I went to update the info on website which it wouldn't do then called 4 different times for them to update the card info and their system still would try to run the expired card even after they supposedly changed the information. Would not recommend them for any transport try anyone else instead.

Refusing to deliver my items. Stating that I need to drive back to Madison, to their warehouse, load my items myself, and deliver them myself to my destination. The Milwaukee franchise advertises on their website that deliver to Sheboygan. I have booked the move, paid the Madison franchise for pickup and storage (which they completed in a satisfactory manner), and now the central office is saying Sheboygan is an "undeliverable" area. I have called 6 times. I have been hung up on 4 times. The workers refuse to connect me with a manager, saying speaking to a manager would "be a waste of my time." I have filed a formal complaint, and they have a 3 day review process. The three days have come and gone. I called again, and now my new call begins another 3 day review process. They have not responded to the 2 chat messages I have sent on their website. Worst moving company I have ever dealt with. Truely don't know what to do.

Good company. Everything was as told. Drivers are professional and take care you understand what you should considered when loading and also take care of your property when they deliver the container. Much less expensive than others

They promised that my pod would be moved in 8 days across the country and then 2 days before dropping off my pod to be loaded, i learned it would require at least 16 days without any guaranteed date. Absolutely disgraceful service.

My overall experience with PODS was satisfactory. My only concern was how and when to relay information to the delivery crews. I had used the online chat option to get help on delivery/placement of 2 containers but both times the information was not relayed to the drivers themselves. Also, be aware that they do NOT prorate empty container rates. If you go over even one day of use they will charge an entire rental fee. I think this is not OK when considering someone else will use that container and also pay full price for use. Drivers were very professional and the contact prior to delivery/pick-up was great!

Edit 2: It has now been 2 months since my incident was opened for PODS double charging me and they have yet to get back to me after I have left multiple voicemails, emails, and called customer service. Unfortunately I think I just stuck with overpaying them for their terrible service. Edit: I reached out to customer service yet again. Promises were made to get this resolved and people would be reaching out to me. This was 2 weeks ago and still nothing as been done. If you want false promises and the worst customer service imaginable, go with PODS. They are truly one of a kind in their abysmal customer service. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Using PODs was singlehandedly the worst decision I could have ever made for my cross country move. My POD was not delivered on time, they lost my POD once they had it in their possession for over 3 days, and then the constant billing issues have been a nightmare to deal with. Almost all of the people I have talked to in the PODs customer service department has been rude, uncaring and generally unwilling to help resolve any of my issues. NEVER use PODs if you value your time and money. While it may look cheaper to use them, I promise you that it is not worth the time and stress.

We just had our POD returned to us today after a 8+ month storage period. After reading some of the reviews of the Madison location, I was pretty skeptical on how today might go. I can happily report that it was delivered on the promised day, they called me 30 minutes prior to arrival (my request), and were efficient and professional. I had previously used PODS, so I was a bit surprised at some of the reviews, but today, I experienced nothing but good. Many thanks!

Our PODS container came later than scheduled due to a no-show of an employee. However, we did receive our container on the day promised and we were very lucky to have Cornell as our delivery person. He was exceptional--polite, professional and was awesome in his expertise in dropping off the PODS container. We will request and hope that we can have him pick up our unit when the time comes.

Pros: - easy to understand quote, the price is what you pay, no hidden fees - pod was delivered to original address on time - their referral services for help are good (they don't provide labor to load/unload themselves, but recommended 3rd parties) Cons - they never pick up the phone, if there is an issue reaching your driver or the main company, good luck. - driver never called day before or morning of delivery, and I paid an extra $500 for city services and still did not get a call - the items in the POD shifted a lot, I think our POD tipped over. TV broke and they would not cover it
