The postal lady in Stratford was very rude and extremely cold to me.i told her it was my boyfriends post office box and that I only needed to have some birthday gifts mailed there ONE time for my little boy from Amazon. She gave me a lecture like I was a 5 year old and then started slamming the gifts down on the counter all angry. She even said that if I hadnt come in right when I did, ALL my mail was being returned because my name wasnt on the on his p.o. box.she told me I would have do pay for my own box. Ive never been treated so crudely by any state employee. There was another lady in there at the same time I was and she just left the post office all angry and never did get helped. Terrible service.

We had mail in our mailbox for the mail carrier to take and be delivered. When we got home we found over half of it in the snow bank! Not sure if the other pieces are being delivered. We have our snow removed in front of the mailbox. So it is not like they couldn’t get to it. We have had incorrect mail delivered to our home too.

Our mail carrier is the best. Very conscientious and will always bring packages to our door. Although the hours at the PO are short, I am thankful they are there, and they have always been very polite to me.

We have sent donations to St. Joseph’s church using the street address and they have been returned. It’s down a few blocks from the post office. I am sure they didn’t even know how much money is being lost as they still give us the street address to use. We have sent other mail invites and cards to local residents who have lived in Stratford their whole lives and in the same house and yet those have been returned to us. Postmaster where is your customer service???? It is so frustrating! You have reduced hours and I get that but don’t you know the people who have been in your community for a long time. So much for the post office delivery. You can deliver in rain and sleet but only if you have a PO box number.

They are very unkind, and have little care for customer satisfaction. They have such short hours that it is very difficult for anyone to get things done, and the hours are quite inconvenient. Very disrespectful workers.
