#Racist Woke up this morning feeling depressed and still upset because how I was treated yesterday. I could still hear one of the old white men saying "we've had them here acting like this before". To Leroy F. Program Director thanks for speaking with me today. I had to rate my experience at this facility and how I felt after being told that "you don't belong at the YMCA" by a member. I took this as a racial comment because it was no reason for the comment expecially coming from a Judge. This member was not slamming barbells or aggressively moving equipment until I came in his area. I understand this happens sometimes at certain gyms "muscle gyms" not the Y. I had just started working on the string machine when this behavior began but I was determined to ignore and complete my workout. This member was using the barbell station. He approached me saying something but I was nervous and tried to ignore him. He was determined to get my attention so I calmy told him "you're making me nervous". The look on his face as he asked me, what are you talking about? I informed him your slamming weights and moving things around aggressively. He replied You do not belong at the YMCA. He was right, especially during early afternoon. The old white me constantly stare and after this incident stood around talking about it. I document and rate my experience because someone with power in the community could make a lot happen to a person of color. The comment was very inappropriate. I follow the rules and have respect for others. I've let family and friends know what happened to me in case of retaliation. In 2022 some people think they can say whatever they want to a certain group of people. "You don't belong at the YMCA"

Always friendly service and good facilities. I wish the hours were better, but for those whose schedules line up with it it's a great place to work out

Great place. My son loves summer camp. He has been going there for 4 years now. They do different activities every week. Plus swim, play sports, and go to the skating rink, park and so on. Would highly recommended! Nice workout place also. Check them out!!!

Water Aerobics class is great!!! Wonderful instructor and is a fun class.

Best gym in the county. Has everything a Gym should have. My son and i love playing basketball. No other gym in the area offers that.

Have enjoyed working out at this YMCA when in town off the road from touring. Enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool.

I enjoy all the classes that are available everyday. My teenagers love the basketball, heated pool, steam room and well equipped gym area. It's definitely family oriented.

My child is 6yrs old and doesn't know how to swim go in pool area to check him out all counselors were playing with football and not watching children alot of bullying and counselors tell them to work it out amoung them self's child get sick and when I pick him up he still had vomit all over him counselors are children them self's and should be watching any ones children!! Accident waiting to happen!! Will never go back nor recommend it to anyone who care and loves their kids!!
