I was low on propane and with a storm coming in I requested a delivery. They told me it would take up to 14 days to deliver but if I want to pay the $200 expediting fee it would be 72 hours. I was desperate since the gas is my heat so I paid the exorbitant fee. My gas was supposed to be delivered by Friday at 4 pm. They never showed. I called immediately and was told it would be delivered on Saturday by 3 pm and they again never showed and they’re closed on the weekend so I couldn’t speak with anyone. They finally showed up on Wednesday. I was not home when they delivered. They gave me the gas and then locked my tank. Without even a phone call. Who cuts off someone’s heat in the middle of winter without even a courtesy call? After over an hour on the phone being transferred all over the place, no one could tell me why my gas was cut off. They said they could get someone out maybe in two days!! I am beyond frustrated and I am at their mercy. As soon as I can change companies I will. Amerigas has been nothing but a headache. All of my neighbors have switched. I don’t understand how they could have such a high rating.

As everyone in here states. You will get a national call center when you call the local number. No way to talk to anyone local. Lots of other propane dealers in town who you can talk to.

You may have a quicker response if you tracked down a dinosaur and waited the millions of years for fossil fuel to form. Terrible customer service, endless broken promises. You can't even contact some one in AZ if you have an issue, and likely not in this country.

Good luck trying to contact a local office. All I can get is a recording that the office is closed and they put you through to call center. Poor poor customer service. I guess amerigas is going out of business. I challenge anyone to get ahold of a local amerigas office in globe safford Payson, show low etc.

i am a single dad with a four year old boy at home and have to explain to him that we have no heat in strawberry where its VERY cold....i contacted the office when my tank was at 15 percent the lady said there would be gas in the tank the next day, didnt happen, so i called to remind them she then again said next day, didnt happen, i then called in the morning and said if they didnt that day i would run out of gas and wouldnt have heat or hot water and she said someone would be out that day and if not she would call me, well, no call and got home from work and tank was empty. i called them to express my frustration and they then said they would charge me a service fee for someone to come out and i told them absolutly not and paul the service rep said" time to bundle up do you want gas tomorrow or dont you?" wtf kind of joke of a place is this i then told him to come and get his effin tank cause it will be in the street what a sad sad staff in the office i will never ever say another good thing about this company again and if i could rate the quality less than poor-fair i would CRAP SERVICE!!!!! oh and thank you matlock gas for succedding where they have failed.....
